El YucatecoGreen Habanero Sauce, 8 oz.

I first had this at a local Mexican restaurant and went crazy for it, even though I thought I might die of the heat. I am a huge, yet disciminating, fan of hot suaces in general but this is by far my favorite right now. I can handle a lot of heat as a regular hot sauce eater but this stuff is on a different scale than what you can get at the grocery store. My husband won't come near this stuff. It is so good I want to pour it on whatever I'm eating but it is sooooo hot I have to find that threshold of barely tolerable heat before it's so much I can't take it. Of course, with continued dosage I can do more over time. Our Publix and Kroger doesn't carry it so I have to go to the mercado/taqueria and can only get the 4 oz. version so this time I actually bought three 8 oz. bottles here on Amazon (fiendish, I know).The flavor is excellent, uncomplicated and straight forward like fresh green habaneros blended with a bit of salt and a bit of vinegar. It isn't thin or overly vinegary or too salty though like a lot of hot sauces. I think this is because there is more actual habaneros in there because it's a little thicker consistency with a bit of fine texture to it. Also, the color is fabulous. I don't know if they add food dye or not but it is this vibrant, almost neon grass green. Love it.My favorite way to eat it is on simple things like carne asada with flour tortillas, avocado and shredded lettuce, on 'over medium' fried eggs, and it's perfect on fish tacos with cool slaw, raw white onion and ranch. The Mexican restaurant where I first had this doesn't have it on the tables anymore (probably because it's too hot for most) but they take it and puree it fine with avocado for this outrageously hot guacamole/habanero sauce thing that is just awesome.So obviously I love it and highly recommend it for experienced hot sauce people.

This hot sauce has a great taste with just the right amount of kick.

I'm an avid hot sauce user and cooking enthusiast. I've tried literally scores of hot sauces and make my own as well. This is honestly the most flavorful and satisfying hot sauce I've found. I use it in and on just about every savory dish I make! I'm from the mid-west, and I'm delighted to say that many of my favorite Mexican restaurants are now serving it as a mainstay condiment.

This sauce is very hot, and I LOVE IT. I love spicy food and this has a big kick even with a small amount and great flavor, I have also tried ghost pepper sauce, which is very hot, but loses the flavor. I add this to the top of my burritos, I put it on tacos, and also it is a great addition to Hot wings! if I make a pan of hot wings I mix about 6 drops of this to a package of wings and it gives it a great kick with extra flavor. VERY GOOD, VERY HOT. I have tried many other hot sauces as well and they just don't have that kick I am looking for while maintaining the flavor of the dish. you only need a few drops, so the bottle lasts awhile, Overall great product, it is made with Habenero peppers and has a wonderful flavor, I have even brought some with me to mexican restaurants in my purse to spice up my dish!

I was tired of the same old taste from all the other hot sauce, so decided to try this. Nicely surprised at how spicy it was. Did not give 5 stars since its a bit costly for hot sauce.

If you like serious heat without being ridiculous, this is a great choice (if you want to sear off your tongue lining, try one of the Blair's sauces). I'd give it 7 on a scale of 10 for heat, which means it's not for anyone who has a hard time taking Tabasco Sauce (which is maybe a 4). It also has a nice flavor, though at this heat level I'm not looking for flavorful, just something that's not nasty. And this actually adds a nice flavor. The price was a bit steep compared to the store (you can get this for about $3.00 at a decent Latin market) but I'm overseas so it was well worth it. Latin Products shipped it out very quickly and it arrived in one piece, always plus.

I have tried them all and this is really amazing !please everyone try this !i searched for years for this, prior to the internet I tried this one in 1993 as a gift and then someone stole it and I could not remember the name. I looked and looked and no one knew what I was talking about. Then since the internet I rediscovered my love.This goes GREAT ON PEPORRONI PIZZA
