Used it on brass plates and it works great. Did it with my Xtool F1, followed the instructions and it could not have come out any nicer

This spray is amazing. Goes on and dries quick. Washed off with ease. Leaves a great finish on what you are engraving

I generally work with wood, but I love to experiment. My Xtool S1 20 Watt laser can engrave stainless steel, but the results I've gotten so far don't really pop. I engraved my goat's name on a stainless steel blank that came with my laser. I used the marking spray on one side and nothing on the other. I kept the settings the same for both sides: 90% power 220 speed and 200 lines. These are the suggested settings I found for stainless on the Xtool website without marking spray, but I can probably improve these results with some testing... The pictures are my fist and only attempt so far to engrave metal. Unfortunately, I didn't get the engraving perfectly centered either time, but my goat won't care. The first picture shows the result with the spray and second without. The difference is more striking in real life. There are no visible engraving lines when using the spray and the writing is sharp and visible from every angle. Without the spray, the writing is much harder to see at most angles. Note that I blurred out my phone number which is why that part of the pictures looks weird. I think this Xtool marking spray will also be great on glass and tile, though I have not been able to test that yet. I wish Xtool would add some suggested settings for the spray on glass, stainless and aluminum to the materials database. I bet they will eventually since they do have suggestions for marking paper. I am please with how much spray you get for the price! I recommend this spray and look forward to more experiments.
