Strong for it's size
Using this in a car and able to start a small 4cyl engine fine. Had I known they had larger models sooner I would have bought one but so far this is working well in a small car with a 4cyl engine that is not used regularly. I do not leave the car connected because of a parasitic drain on the car side but it was able to handle multiple starts over the time I have had it without an issue.

Close call
Well the battery tested fine on the bench, BMS cut off at about 14V during charge and about 10V on discharge. I put this in an old Sears riding lawn mower and it started just fine. However, after about an hour of use it caught fire and melted. I was lucky the whole mower did not go up in flames and me with it. I suspect that high voltage and maybe even AC noise did something to the BMS and caused it to over charge. Many reviews for this battery are free product reviews, keep that in mind. The seller/manufacturer should warn buyers of problems with older engines that use the battery to regulate voltage. Once the BMS cuts off charging, the voltage is largely unregulated. This may have caused the fault or there may have been a bad cell. After further investigation, my mower has a 1/4 wave rectified AC current with no regulation and most likely that very spikey Voltage signal fooled the BMS allowing the battery to continue charging until thermal melt down. These batteries should not be used on such a poorly regulated system but they should also be designed not to fail in this manner. Many riding lawn mowers have a poorly regulated DC voltage output that is also not pure DC. Many use the battery to help regulate things. If you have an old lawn mower, please do not use one of these.

Historic Improvement in Context
Listed below is my original review. Obviously, I really liked the battery. So much, I ordered another for a different motorcycle. it came missing the screws for the spacers. The little screwdriver was included. The little bag the screws were supposed to be in was included. However, the screws were missing. Clearly, a return that was not checked. The approach has come to characterize Amazon. In addition, the original second purchase was returned to Amazon by the USPS because of damage to the package. Of course that little indifference cost me a delay and greater complexity on my bill. As with most companies today, the larger they get the less they care about customers or service. One might think there is not much to say about a motorcycle battery. However, I was really impressed with this product. In all honesty, I had my doubts regarding the lithium technology. I have ridden for close to a half century. The primary bike over the last 20 years has been a 2000cc V-Twin. When I installed this battery it spun the big engine like a top. No cranking, hesitation, etc. Also like the fact it has a little charge indicator light on top that reflected it was not absolutely "topped off". Every start since then has been exactly the same. At this point, I would say it represented a great value. My experience has shown that a lead based motorcycle battery might be good for a couple of years or so if one keeps it on a maintainer, etc. If this EBL lithium makes that mark it will represent a vast improvement over any battery I have used.

works perfectly
I have a 750 Kawasaki Vulcan and ordered this battey. When it came in I was startled because of the size. It was lighter and smaller than the original. I was going to send it back b/c it was 1/3 the size and I did not think it would even start my bike but I tried it anyway and the damn thing started my bike without any problem. So for the last week I go and see if it will still start. Damn thing starts every time just like new. Very powerful, this little battery. Blew me away so I will keep it. Do not know why it says " often returned item " I like it! It's so small in comparison but very powerful.

Good battery
Didn't quite fit in the original battery's position, but it came with foam shims and for my 2003 BMW R1150rt it works! Fantastic. Starts to bike every time. Has plenty of cranking power. Great battery for the price.

2.5 and 5Ah works
The 2.5Ah is a great battery for a 250cc.Initially I assumed it wouldn't be able to power the starter in the 250, but it has more power than necessary. If anything I'd say the 2.5Ah is powerful enough for up to a 350 or even a 400cc.The 5Ah is perfect for my CFMoto 450. It's got more power than I need to start the bike. The only reason I went with the 5Ah version instead of the 3.5Ah was fitment. The 3.5Ah was too small for the compartment. Also, the bike uses a t-box with parasitic drain. So the 5Ah works great for 30-60 days of no riding. With the 3.5Ah I would have needed to disconnect the battery during such long time no riding, or plug it in a trickle charger.I also bought the 2.5A for my cg250.Due to an electric error, the starter kept cranking the engine for 2 whole minutes, even with the keys out of the keyhole and the starter button in off position. This was no fault of the battery of course, but I was amazed that the 2.5A battery just kept cranking that thing without seizing, for 2 whole minutes, until I was able to fix the issue. Also, one of my engines had a charge issue. This bike just kept riding for 2 days before the battery gave out. After a 30 minute quick charge, was ready to go again.

Do not buy.
For the love god. If like to be stranded on the side of the road buy this craptastick battery. Lasted less than ten rides and under four hundred miles. Then just died. No warning, no might be going. Just went. The top of the battery gage will say I got you covered. But that damn things lies. So if you want a good battery that will last I surely wouldnt buy thisbone. If you want to be let down then this is your battery.
