This is a great this to have if you have the Elegoo printer. Swapping out the extruder is easy with just a few screws to remove. It is small enough that I try to keep a backup on hand. It is the same quality as the one that shops with the machine and it is decently priced as two to three PLA spools cost that much.

This Elegoo extruder head was exactly what I needed. Installation was quick and straightforward even for someone who isn’t a pro at printer repairs. Once installed, it worked flawlessly with consistent filament feed and no jams. Print quality has been excellent since the upgrade. If you’re looking for a reliable replacement or upgrade for your Elegoo printer, I highly recommend this one.

Bought this instead of replacing hotend. Works great. Just wish the printer was better.

Works good, easy to put on

I spent the beginning of my 3d printing career buying $175 Makebot extruders on a regular basis, so this feels like a great deal. I've done tons of printing and am on my two neptune printers, and am on 3rd replacement across two printers. I 3d print prototypes professionally, They're cheap enough that for me it makes sense to just keep a spare rather than spend engineering time trying to fix a messed up one. Great product. The low cost means I can keep a spare on hand, and the quick changeout time means even a total extruder failure means almost no down time.

I ordered 3, on 2 of them you cannot get the nozzle off because it is over-tightened so much. I don't use standard nozzles, so they are essentially worthless.
