Super Handy and Precise – A Must-Have for DIY Plumbing Projects!
I picked up this Inside Pipe Cutter set for a bathroom remodel, and I’m seriously impressed. I had to trim several PVC and ABS pipes that were flush with the wall, and this tool made it so much easier than I expected. The adjustable depth gauge is a game changer—it helped me get clean, even cuts without having to eyeball everything. It comes with five saw blades, which is a nice bonus, and the hex shank worked perfectly with my cordless drill. The cutter feels solid and well-made, not flimsy like some others I’ve seen. It was easy to control and didn’t jump around while cutting, which saved me a ton of time and frustration.Definitely a great addition to my tool kit. If you’re doing any kind of plumbing work where space is tight, this thing is worth every penny!

Good enough for home use.
Nice enough tool for the work required. i'm doing a shower and the drain pipe was in the floor and virtually inaccessible. Trimming it to length was pretty easy. This is NOT A ONE HAND TOOL. In use, i need to hold the shaft, and the drill motor carefully or it "runs away".

A winner for me
Cut a number of ABS and PVC pipes and blades still good, so a winner.

Half way cut
Only cut part of the inside of a 1" Schedule 80 PVC pipe. It cut enough that I was able to use a hacksaw to cut away the entire pipe. I would assume it'd work great on schedule 40. If you remove the round plexiglas guide and just use the straight shaft with the saw attached, it will give you enough clearance to cut through the inside of a schedule pipe, but you'll be without the plexiglas guide for measurement and a straight cut.
