Wonderful flavor
Regular chickpeas are kind of bland, but these have a great flavor, almost like peanuts. I have eaten them sauteed in butter with zataar, in vegan chili with tvp and canned tomatoes, and plain, cold, unseasoned from a bowl.I do not recommend salt or baking soda for soaking or cooking. Just water. 12 hour soak, 90 minutes on the stove, they're firm but not raw or hard.

Great quality
Taj products are great!! So far I have ordered kala chana, poha and a few dried lentils. They have all been very good quality! Look forward to more Indian spices and beans from this brand!!

Disappointed
I was given a bag of these I searched this exact product and when they came in the mail they were chickpeas and yes they were dried… The package that I had were like a freeze dried chickpea that you ate Right out of the bag that’s what I thought I was getting
