Excellent product
This product should have been on the market 30 years ago. It's purpose is heat resistantance and that is exactly what it does, ZERO REGRETS!

It works but...
It works well but removing and reusing it is a bit dicey. The burned material is difficult to separate from the good portions so it doesn't stay in place well on next brazes. Even wetting my hands slightly to reform or regenerate the material it just gets harder to work with.

Good Stuff!
Viper Wet Rag (VWR) got me out of a jam. Had to heat water heater anode rod head in order to remove, without damaging tank glass lining and top cover paint. Molded VWR around anode rod, exposing only bolt head. Extended VWR around top of rod installation hole (top cover of water heater). Applied heat (propane) to anode rod bolt head (less than a minute). Gave rod head 2 short "braaps" with impact gun. Anode rod came out slicker than poop through a goose. Upon removal of VWR, surrounding foam insulation and water heater top cover paint were in pristine condition. Amazing product!!

Does what it's supposed to
I've had the chance to use this a few times now brazing line sets for HVAC installation and it's held up well so far. I find it easier to use and is less in the way of what I'm working on then actual wet rags. The only downside is it can be a little messy to work with. Use a pair of disposable gloves when applying and it much easier to use
