I'll start by saying: If you wake up feeling lethargic and not-quite-all-there, and it last through the day - you need this! I take it exactly as directed, 5 half dropper-fulls under the tongue, hold it for 30 seconds, then swallow. It has a slightly sour and sweet taste, but not bad or gross at all! I have a chronic pain in my chest and 10 minutes after I took the B12 I felt a burning sensation run directly through the part of my chest where the pain emanates from, it felt like something was being dissolved, then suddenly I felt better than I have in years! I wake up excited to take my B12, because once I do I feel naturally energized (not jittery caffeine energy) and I'm able to think more clearly. It's improved my focus and productivity both at home and at work. I will never go a single day without taking this B12.

I purchased this and other Now supplements to improve my over all health and I can say it has gotten much better. The lI I use a dropped which makes it easy to swallow and it's a great value for the money.

I started these a bout 2 weeks ago and I seem to feel more energy and alert - able to focus better on my work and not as tired by mid day. Glad I gave them a try. Taste is not soo bad - reminds me of cough syrup. As directions recommend I put under my tongue in morning befoe my coffee & bagel breakfast.

This is an absolutely wonderful b-12 supplement for anyone but especially for vegetarians. I recommend it to vegetarians who don't eat meat or fish so they get enough b-12. It has two forms of co-enzyme b-12 as well as the cyano form. I also like that it has a supporting b complex that is not an overload. You actually WANT the complex to be less. Otherwise you can get a B-imbalance. So this is perfect. I buy it all the time and I highly recommend it.[Update 8/25/2014]This product should be used with caution (especially for older people). I found out something interesting about Folic Acid. It turns out that high doses of folic acid (which is the synthetic form of folate) is being linked to undesirable results in the body. This product has a high amount of folic acid. Folic acid has to be converted to folate in the body and when we get older, we can lose that ability so therefore higher doses of folic acid can be undesirable. Since I am older, I am no longer going to use this product because of the high concentration of folic acid. This is a shame because everything else about this product is very good. It is only the folic acid that can be bad for us older folks. If they switched the folic acid ingredient to folinic acid then I would start taking it again.I'm still keeping it at 5 stars because for younger folks this should be fine since a younger person can more than likely handle a higher dose of folic acid.If you are interested, I have switched to taking the regular (not ultra) B-12 of this same brand to get a broad spectrum B complex. It has a much lower dose of folic acid but it also does NOT have the co-enzyme b12 which is not as good. I only take about half the dosage. I then supplement with Methyl-B12 (co-enzyme form of B12), P-5-P (co-enzyme form of B6) and Folinic Acid (this form is not the same as folic acid and is safer to use). The Methyl-B12 and P-5-P are NOW Foods brand and the Folinic Acid is Source Naturals.

I have bought this item numerous times. Well worth the money. I'll buy it again. It has a pleasant taste too, in case you were wondering.

I take this because B12 deficiency runs in my family and if you are lacking, it can lead to dementia like problems! This is the case with my mom, so I have started taking this as a precaution. I asked my Dr. about it and she said it is ok for anyone who needs a little extra boost of energy to take, and I can really tell it gives me more energy! It says to take it in the morning; maybe because you would be too energized to sleep at night? The taste is not bad (hold it under your tongue for 30 seconds then swallow). I have only been using half the dose as I did have some blood tests done for this and I was ok, so am mainly using it for the energy factor now! You do have to store it in the refrigerator though.
