Very good ice pack wrap for the shoulder. It stays very cold for over 30 min from frozen. If you let it sit out for around 5 min before use, the ice gel is far more flexible. For most uses a 20 min duration is what’s required. It stands to reason that use times would change if you use the ice in warm/hot ambient room temperatures. The value is good. For a larger person it covers the shoulder from the neck to the upper arm nicely. It stays in place if you use the large strap correctly across the chest and under the opposite arm. Not around the neck. The pack is well filled and on the heavier side. Here are my cons after multiple uses. The arm strap can be difficult to use on your own. That part could have been designed a lot better. You may need help fastening it. The ice can be so cold that it caused a redness on my shoulder over my t-shirt. So I use a thin towel in between the ice and my shirt. It would have been nice to have some cloth padding built in like the small pack I received from the hospital.

I just had my right rotator cuff. That was completely torn, surgery on June 3. I know have it partially torn in the past that it is painful and ice helps tremendously with pain relief. I bought two of the rotator cuff shoulder ice packs!!! GAME CHANGER! I had my 1st post op appointment today and the doctor is amazed at how well I am recovering! If you are having shoulder surgery I highly recommend this ice pack and order two so you can also have one in the freezer!

I am recovering g from shoulder surgery & this thing is amazing! Covers all the right spots and doesn't freeze super solid. Lasts for a good while 2. The fit is good and im 6'2" 265. I can see it being an issue for a smaller person tho.The only cons I have found is that it could use a bit more gel in it to get a more even distribution & the velcro on the arm strap is on the wrong side of the strap so I have to twist it to make it stay.I still recommend tho.

So glad I got this. I just had shoulder surgery and once I learned how long the recovery would take, I ordered this ice pack. I’m so glad I did. I honestly don’t think I could get through recovery without it. It covers all the key areas and straps on securely. I’d recommend this to anyone dealing with shoulder issues or post-surgery pain.

As an icepack, this product works quite well. It maintains a cool temperature long enough for full session of PT on your sore shoulders. My only issue is that it's not easy to wrap around your arm. There were no instructions in my box, so I dont know if this is normal or not. But I had to figure out how to wrap it around my arm. This is not easy to do. 'What I recommend doing is that you figure out how to wrap the and secure the arm strap while the ice pack is thawed out and plyable. Because once it is chilled, the product is fairly rigid and difficult to bend and curl. So, figure out how to attach it to your arm, and the remove it like you would a shirt. Leave the velcro straps attached and in place and then stick it in your freezer. Then when you are ready to use it, all you have to do is slide it into place on your arm and then stretch the other strap up and over your head. This is much much easier to do than trying to figure out how to secure it onto your arm if it's already chlled and rigid.

I would give this a 12 star out of 10. Very cold. Easy to put on and it stays in place. I usually will get help with one of the staps,but could put the ice pack on without help if I need to. Even with being frozen,it wraps around your shoulder and arm with ease. I.m not surprised at the qualtity. I have bought a ice pack from this vendor before and it was a great ice pack as well.

I don't know how i would have survived shoulder surgery without this. The gel factor allows me to shape it around me shouulder/arm. It stays cold around 30 minutes, which is perfect, as I am not supposed to ice longer.

This last for about 30 minutes. Which that’s how long I need to ice before heat. I have a torn rotator cuff. Feels good I need help getting it on It stays put. It is a little stiff at first but conforms to your body after a few minutes.
