Attention all Harry Potter lovers, this set is an amazing addition for your collection! The price point is great because you’re not just getting the books, the way they’re packaged makes them double as a decoration piece.I bought this set for my mother who is the ultimate Harry Potter fan. She has a Harry Potter themed office and this book collection really tied together her book case. She was thrilled to receive this item.I highly recommend this as a gift for any Harry Potter lover in your life!

Informative and Canon!
Loved reading this, especially the Tales of Beedle the Bard. The designs of the spines match (which brings joy to my soul), and they fit lovely on my shelf!

exceeded my expectations.
I bought the slightly used version at a cheaper price so i knew what to expect. only 1 flaw the case that the 3 books where in was slightly broke. but i don't care these are the cutest little books. I immediately read the tale of the 3 brothers. I have never been so excited about books I've gotten except for these. I can't wait to buy more for my collection with my daughters.

More pictures please!
Chraming and informative, but lacks illustrations. I would liked to have seen more illustrations for Fantastic Beasts at the very least.Beedle the Bard's tales have additional commentary by Dumbledore which is very thought provoking. He analyses the writings with the political landscape of the times, which was very "anti-muggle" due to witch-hunts and the like..deep stuff that makes you think about our muggle writiers and what they must go through as well. Probably the most mature yet delightful of the three.Quidditch through the Ages is informative as well. The author gives the history of the flying broom, followed by early broom games, until we reach the current age and state of Quidditch. It also includes a brief description of the current teams which I would prefer be more detailed. I was hoping for an almanac of sorts, or something that would give me an idea of the rivalries between teams and how they trained.. again not as many pictures as I'd hoped, but of the three books, this seems the most inclusive in detail. It even describes offensive and defensive techniques.Lastly Fantastic Beasts and where to find them gives a short history on the classification of "beasts" in the magical world and the wizarding world's attempts to keep them hidden from Muggle eyes. An A-Z bestiary which includes dragons, acromantulas, etc.. This is where I'd hoped to find the most illustration... not to be.These books ARE illustrated, albeit sparsely and with little detail. Despite this I still enjoyed them and love having all three together for future reference!

Excellent! Really Excellent!
Short reads but a wonderful additive compendium to the Harry Potter series. VERY high quality and should hold up to many many reads!Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is much shorter than I anticipated. Each "beast" only has a sentence or two describing it but the foreword and footnotes are excellent editions. There is no plot (although there is a bit of history that describes why certain creatures are "beasts" instead of "beings"; ie, Centaurs and Mermaids) so the movie that is currently being filmed will be a complete surprise to readers. Peppered throughout the book are notes written by Harry, Ron, or Hermione, most pertaining to Hagrid and his love of beasts.Quidditch Through The Ages is a detailed account of how Quidditch came into being, a brief history of broom manufacture, descriptions of all British and many foreign teams (their winning/loss history, origin, team uniform, etc). The Tales Of Beedle the Bard is comprised half of children's stories and half of Dumbledore's thoughts thereupon. Footnotes from both JK Rowling and Dumbledore are included and give greater insight and delight to the stories. The stories themselves are uplifting and encourage honesty, courage, bravery, loyalty, mercy, kindness, and love. I am very excited to read these stories to my young children and hope that when they read the Harry Potter series for the first time, they will be excited to already be familiar with the stories Ron mentions in The Deathly Hallows.
