Great printer
Using the HP phone app the setup was a breeze as it walks you through every step, then adding it to my PC after this was easy as well, launch the PC HP app and add printer, the app found the printer on my network and had it ready to use in no time.I have it set to print using draft quality most of the time, which makes it pretty quick with good quality prints. However setting it to the best print quality and using photo paper for photos gives great results, however it does increase the print time considerably.I have not used the scanner other than the inital setups alignment process so I cant comment on that as of yet. It does hold a good amount of ink and I can imagine it lasting a good long while without needing to be refilled, and it does come with all the inks to fill the tanks and an extra black ink bottle too.

Excellent printer at a good price
I had problems setting up, the instructions seem clear and straightforward, internet connection was quick and easy. I had a problem fitting the ink tanks and phoned HO support, the tech help formed a view that the machine delivered might be defective and recommended returning to Amazon . Boxed it up and took to the post office for replacement, Amazon dispatched new device which set up easily enough. I like the new printer, it scans, copies, prints - all I need to do and it takes input from other devices. Good performance and value

Dubious build quality, but does the job in a clanky way.
I bought this printer as a successor to my venerable HP LJ 4700 colour laser, which served faithfully for fifteen years. While that old workhorse is still chugging along, it’s bulky and far more than I need nowadays. Admittedly, I’ve been inkjet-free for years—those machines were always too slow and costly to run—but this one lured me in with promises of ink-tank economy. How could I resist? This all-in-one (AIO) printer offers scanning and printing capabilities. The scanner? Flawless. The printer? Well, it’s a mixed bag. It holds just 100 sheets of A4 paper, but that’s fine for my small office setup. The printing experience, however, is a bit of a clunky symphony. The first page takes its sweet time to appear, but once it gets going, the speed is respectable. As for colour documents, they’re decent—though not show-stopping. And photo prints? Let’s just say, I’ve seen better from inkjets designed specifically for photography. For the price, I had higher hopes.Speaking of price, the build quality leaves something to be desired. It’s clearly tailored for home or small office use—not a robust contender for busier environments. The design is clean but uninspired—aesthetically neutral, you might say. Setup was straightforward enough, provided you follow the instructions carefully (read: don’t wing it).Am I dazzled by this printer? Not quite. But it’s good enough to avoid a return trip to the store. Next time, though, I’ll probably give other manufacturers a closer look.

Constantly Hangs with Apple Laptop and Tablet
This scanner/printer is not easy to set up although they have tried to be as practical as possible but there’s a lot of bits of cardboard and sticky back plastic to remove and potentially forget to remove, which can cause difficulty. As seems to be the way these days, instructions are online which is a faff and there’s not much help in unpacking the printer etc. in it. It was easy to connect to the internet. The app for using it is useless: it’s clumsy and it’s difficult to access files from your Apple iCloud using Apple iOS. Fortunately apple allows direct printing from Word, Pages, Excel and photos etc. without the need for the app. I must stress how poor this app is; it is really bad for a company as large as HP.The quality of printed photos on Photo Glossy paper is good but not of a professional level.Printing documents is very slow which necessitates the need to change from the default ‘Normal’ setting to ‘Draft’ quality with is a pain to have to do.The printer often jams, its the worst I have known over the last three printers we have had. I know this is often a ‘user error’ but it shouldn’t have to be that complicated for an average user to get it right. The best thing about it is the cost of ink and its very low usage of ink which makes up for a lot of the above. This was a Which best buy (which again leads me to question Which’s reviews, which is another story)!?I would not recommend it.## UPDATE##Further to the above, the printer is consistently failing to print from MacBook Air and iPad. Switching the printer on and off appears the only way to get it to print. Therefore I would definitely not recommend this printer.
