These eyedrops are highly recommended for all with dry eyes. I use these eyedrops each morning and each evening.

Effective for my dry eyes

I have to use eye drops twice a day to keep my eyes moist. I have used Systane for the last several years. Locally it usually comes in a much smaller bottle. I like that this is a much larger bottle so it will last me longer. In the larger size it is also priced better.

I've tried several lubricant eye drops for my dry eyes and this is the best so far. But it is still not good enough for overnight use - I'm still looking.

Years ago my Doc recommended this for dry or over used eyes(i am an avid reader.). I use these often, especially at the end of a day filled with the written word, my favorite kind of day.

I buy this for my dogs. Two of my dogs have dry eyes one of them because of age and it really helps. I put it and their eyes every morning.

I had cataracts and they were removed and replaced with the accommodating lenses. Which are great. I seldom need reading glasses and my vision is 20/10 with the accommodating lenses.I never realize that they are there or working so well except in dry eye situations areas/vehicles with high power fans or inside with gas heat and dry air for the heat. Dry eyes are often an apparent side effect with the accommodating lenses.My doctor had me try all types of eye stuff including his expensive RX. A friend with the accommodating lenses suggested that I use Systane Ultra Drops/SUDs. They work well in the day time and not so well at night. The Optometrists at my clinic said I could use the SUDs as often as needed. That gets to be very expensive besides the nuisance aspect.I use a CPAP machine at night and even with a good mask fitting, my eyes would get very dry each night. I had to use the SUDs 2-3 times each night.A friend had/has the same dry eyes problem with her accommodating lenses.Her new Opthamologist recommended that she buy this product and use it at first at home when she didn't have to drive and before going to bed. She went from several drops per night and several times to just one pre bedtime application. He warned her not to use it, if she planned to drive within 30 minutes.She uses it in her office when she gets there in the morning and does great for the rest of the day. If she plans to stay home that evening. After she gets home, she uses it then and later when she goes to bed.I got my first bottle of Systane Long Lasting Lubricant Eye Drops, 30-mL in late April and started using it before bedtime and 30 minutes before driving. I have had immediate relief from my dry eyes. That bottle lasted for 2 months.I use it in the daytime if the heat or ac is on or in buildings like our church or big stores with high ceilings. Again don't use it if you need to drive in 30 minutes or less.It still works at night in spite of my CPAP machine with the mask around and below my eyes. I am saving a lot of money with this product versus other options.
