So far I love these.I'm not using them as they're intended for Soccer.I do stagehand work & video / film production.Especially when I'm doing stagehand work I'm pushing large cases around.I am constantly banging my shines.I'm still fighting a big open wound from several months ago that I had to see my doctor and a wound specialist for.That's why I ordered these.I love that these are a sleeve with a hard slide in shell.My biggest concerns were that they'd slide down, stretch, or I'd rip themSo far they haven't slid down and they're so comfortable to wear that I don't realize they are there.I've only had them 2 months so I can't honestly say how they might hold up with time as far as stretching or ripping.The sleeve seems to be well made so I have high hopes.The shell itself give good coverage around the front of my shins where I constantly bruise myself.The back side of the hard shell has some rubber to isolate it from your shin upon impact.Their is a specific right & left shell which seems to better protect your legs.The first time I put them on I didn't pay attention to that and I definitely notice better coverage doing it right.The sleeve goes on and off easy enough.I try to keep the sleeve to the front putting on but I usually have to make a slight adjustment which is easy.As a bicyclist I have leg and arm wind sleeve for colder days.The material of these seems to be similar to those. I would guess the material is also close to the woman's tights.I was really debating between all the choices on Amazon.Definitely way to many.For Soccer some might offer some better protection being larger.Others were like these but had velcro fasteners.I wanted a set that easily fit under my pants without making bulges, wouldn't slip as I was afraid straps would, even with velcro if they slid down as your leg tapers.Again, these are extremely comfortable and many of the others don't look like they would be.Normally I don't give 5 star as I feel to many are not real. Personally I put more faith in the 4 star.At this point I feel these deserve 5 star unless they later stretch to the point that they don't stay in place,If that happens I may be able to modify this later.Again, for soccer, I can't honestly say how they protect against others. For comfort these are great and look like they would be better than any of the others I was looking atIf you're like me and looking for work or yard protection - definitely consider theseIf you find others for soccer to be uncomfortable, definitely try these.

My daughter’s soccer coach recommended these shinguards and they are awesome.Easy for my daughter to put on herself, good for, and they fit fine under soccer socks.

The sleeves are a little loose (I'm 6'2" and 200 lbs). I tried practicing with the guards in just the sleeves and they slid down to my ankles. With socks on they stay in place just fine (the pocket in the sleeve keeps them from riding up) and they're easy to take off at the end of the session. Good coverage of my shins - they've saved me from getting mauled by my 7th grader a few times when we practice together. They seem solidly designed, the channels in the backing foam are a nice touch and help them stay a little cooler. I remember my shins being soaked under my guards after games when I was in youth soccer in the 90s. These seem like they can actually breathe a bit. The color is fine, but they're under sleeves and socks so nobody is going to see them anyways. Overall value is pretty good, I'd say the features offered are comparable to slightly more expensive products from flagship brands.

My daughter wanted this style of shin guard since it’s what most of the girls on her soccer team wear, and it’s definitely more streamlined than the traditional Velcro kind. The guards slide easily into the included pocket sleeves, and I love that I don’t have to adjust anything — no straps to deal with!The set comes with two guards and two sleeves, which work well, but because it’s a four-piece system, I do worry about pieces getting lost. So far, though, we’ve managed to keep everything together. I also like that they come in a variety of colors so she could pick something that matches her style. Just keep in mind you still need to buy regular soccer socks to wear over them.Overall, great design and function, so I would buy again!

I wasn't sure if this would be the right fit for my 9-year-old grandson, but it turned out to be so, and the quality of the product was very good. It stayed in place and the padding was very good.

Husband got a nasty cut on shin when building deck. Bought these to provide protection. Work great!!

These are easy to slip into the sleeves or into soccer socks. My grandsons didn't like the straps on the back or the tube type.

Arrived on time. Look, feel, and fit great.
