Install Was Difficult But So Worth It
The media could not be loaded. I gave up on the instructions halfway through because I was impatient lol! Quality and looks are amazing! Definitely worth the time and money. Took me around 3 hours but I also cut corners. I didn’t feel like weaving the wires through all of the holes so I decided to just tape them up underneath. The remote is a game changer!!Just got the other kit for my Land Rover Defender!

Little finicky but great
Sometimes the remote has a mind of its own and the install is absolute hell on earth but pretty neat otherwise

Worthwhile
The media could not be loaded. First to get started the install was rough. While the instructions could use some fine tuning the kicker is how long it takes. Which is around 5 hours. But, it is really cool and I think totally worth its weight. If you have five hours and patience then go ahead. You won’t regret it.

Need a little patience
Used this light kit for a Lego Porsche. Very fragile wiring but looks cool when done.

Doesn't work long
Followed the steps exactly and after being off and on for maybe 5 hours the headlights and one taillight stopped working completely. Directions aren't perfect and you must have top tier patience to make the wiring even somewhat manageable.

Tricky to install
I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend who is a mechanics engineer as I thought he would love installing this. He did think it was a fun project but was surprised at how complex and tricky the install was. He said the directions were simple and didn’t have great graphics to help you understand where everything goes. He got about halfway through and then left the rest for another day. He still hasn’t finished it.

Rewarding but difficult to do
Found this kit difficult to install and very time consuming. Took me longer to install the lights than it did to build the LEGO model initially. Finished it using a number of work arounds that simplified the wiring. However, the end result is impressive and I am pleased with the purchase. There is one remaining problem. When the battery case is in the “ON” position, the three AAA batteries last only 1 to two days. Be sure to turn “OFF”!
