Brilliant mulcher for the price - it shreds sticks easily - and easy to take it apart if gets stuck and very quick to unclog it.The bag provided with it is too small, you are better off buying some garden waste bags from Lidl for 1.5€ and use those instead. Those are the right size.Overall I am delighted with the machine itself.

It does a great job, makes quick work of branches upto 45mm. Very noisy though and it's best to wear ear defenders while using it, well worth putting up with the noise.

Very easy to assemble, sturdy machine. Looks very robust for your average domestic garden. Yet to be put to the test. Delivered within 48hrs so very impressed with that.

When I first started using this machine I thought - wow...this is great.We had mostly soft branches of around 2cm or less, which we thought would absolutely be fine with this saying it can handle 40mm (4cm).Well, it started off ok but after about an hour of use, we notice the rubber protection flap inside was starting to tear -- not great given that we had even had it a day.We needed to do some slightly bigger branches - again, only 3cm - nowhere near 40mm...we also has some thinner harder twig-type ones.The flap ended up ripped more and we had a piece of wood flying out.I should have just got a refund at this point but was reassured this shouldnt happen and was offered a replacement.20mins in and it started ripping... Rather than contact amazon i thought i'd contact hyundai as they offer 3 years warrant -- their customer service is terrible.I explained about the issue plus the fact the manual says 40mm and the sticker on the machine says 45mm -- they said this absolutely shouldnt be happening and should last much longer... they decided to pass me onto an engineer who sent me a pdf manual and said it can do 45mm...he ignored the bit about the fault.Eventually, after a lot of back and forth, they agreed to send a replacement part (after all the machine was fine...it did want it needed to do)I waited a week and then they said they don't have the part.I've decided to return the item and I have contacted Amazon about the product -- I would completely understand had i been using this every day for several weeks and i was pushing it to its limit and ramming 45mm branches down it -- but they were small branches, mostly soft new growth... the rubber should have lasted much longer.The fact that it has happened on 2 of them suggests this is a design fault -- and considering this is designed to stop debris flying out and hitting you...it's a dangerous faultHopefully amazon will take it seriously and remove the item until hyundai make adjustments.It's a shame because apart from that I would have said it's a decent machine for the price

Very noisy (most, if not all shredders are) so wear ear protectors when operatingNeed to keep exit clear to avoid the unit being blocked - switch off and remove power completely before clearingUnit overheats if operating for extended periods, particularly for large, difficult to cut branches - just take a break and once it cools down it will restartPlastic pusher broke after 3 weeks (replaced with wooden one)

Absolutely brilliant. It makes short work of whole branches. It just gobble them up & fast. Far better than I expected after working on garden machinery 25 years ago. Shredders used to be pretty useless. I had considered buying a small professional machine, but with only 40 mature trees to maintain it was overkill. This is possibly a little small to cope with everything, but 45mm is sufficient for most jobs. 6" (150mm) branch capacity would obviously be better for me, but it would only be used every few years & would be left rusting mostly. This machine can't be faulted at all. It's one of my praised tools now.

Good at shredding a range of branches and leaves. I’ve only used with green wood. Good mulch for around small plants. Must wear ear protection. Took out three years insurance due to the nature of the device as could jam and blades may need replacement or repair. Easy to use after practice and understanding the feed of branches and plunger. Must read instructions. Recommended
