More expensive than other gates, but worth the cost. The gate is well made, very sturdy, and easy to install—as long as you follow the instructions carefully. The gate can open in either direction and will close and lock automatically which is an enhanced safety feature, especially for children. It can also remain open in either direction when fully opened, which is a convenience if you're carrying a basket of clothing or similar objects.

The two gates we purchased were perfect for a hallway and a doorway in our home. We like the tension installation since they will be used only when our grandkids are over. They stayed in place very well. The door feature was easy and quick for the adults to use. The lock worked well to keep the children from getting through. The door has a soft self-close but could also be intentionally propped open if needed. We had all the parts needed plus extra. I did not measure the hallway width before ordering the gates, and we were able to take a panel that was not needed from the one gate and easily add it to the second. I love the look. It is a sturdy gate and looks great.

Well-made, super easy to install. Was up and functional in a few minutes (but be sure to follow instructions!). We have had many gates and I like this one for its sturdiness, one-handed operation, and automatic close with stay open at 90 degrees. Love that it comes with several installation options for different applications as they will come handy in the future. A grown Vizsla and Doberman, as well as a 4 mos. old Doberman puppy haven’t figured it out yet after 1 week. That could be a record for a gate.

Very well designed for a variety of mounting scenarios. It is not necessarily easy to mount like some of the 'plug and play' options out there that too often loosen and fall down. This gate is built well and for something that keeps the kids from tumbling down the stairs it should be rigidly mounted, operate reliably, and offer the peace of mind you need and expect for a safety gate.

Loved this gate so much we bought two. Perfect size for our doorways. Easy to open for adults while not easy enough for kids to figure out (yet at least). Looks nice as well. Works well as expected and sticks well when mounted. Good value for money and would highly recommend as a solid baby gate.

These gates are amazing - spend the money. We purchased them in June 2024, and I wanted to see how they held up. We bought 3 of them for our upstairs as we got a new puppy last year. The gates look amazing, work perfectly, and are very easy to get through with one hand all the time. We use them daily, multiple times, and they hold up and look good. Much better and nicer looking that the traditional wood baby gates that mark up the walls and scratch the floors. Highly recommend these.

Very easy to install, you can open it with one hand which is practical and it opens completely. Clean design. Renter friendly, no need to drill holes.
