We have two toddlers who may have been tornadoes in a past life. I needed a better solution than locking all of our doors or dropping close to $50 to buy enough of the ones big box stores have.These are relatively cheap, so I wasn't expecting much. That said, these are great! For one, they actually stick to what I need them to without having to practically glue them down. I can't comment on residue left behind, but I'm not terribly concerned about it. They stretch as far as I've needed, including around corners. The lock itself (once I figured it out) is super easy to work with one hand and stumps our 3.5yo who has figured out every other method of baby proofing.I do wish the mechanism that locks the strap into place came undone, as I did misjudge it once, but it doesn't stop them from working.Hopefully I won't have to, but I'll buy them again if needed and recommend them if anyone asks.

My young grandkids were coming for a visit, and I needed something to childproof my cabinets and drawers. I had previously used a different childproof lock that was more difficult to set up. These childproof safety locks by Skyla Homes were a breeze to install. The 3M pads adhered well to the various surfaces I applied them to. The quality and durability were perfect. The little ones pulled on the drawers and the cabinet doors, but the locks held firm. I would recommend.

These are such and easy and effective way to keep my little one out of my cabinets and drawers. I appreciate that the design works with cabinets that might not have handles because that’s my entire kitchen. The adhesive is durable and has managed to hold up against my very persistent toddler! Now that he’s getting taller I need to order more for the top drawers.

Used these to prevent my cats getting into my kitchen cabinets. The adhesive isn't great on the painted surface, so I wouldn't recommend if you're preventing something/someone stronger than a cat lol. With some pressure they seem to stick pretty well, they'll only fallen off once (because I forgot to unlock it lol.) However, they are renter friendly and the range of adjustment is decent! Would recommend for kitty owners :)

We actually got this to dog proof the house. Our husky likes to get into everything- she can open doors and turn the oven on. This worked great to prevent her from doing that. So, I’m assuming it also works great for babies/toddlers as well. It stuck right to the doors. The white color helps it to blend in more. Was able to apply it in 2 minutes.

Watched our 1yr old grandson try to open drawers and cabinets after installing the straps to no avail, kinda felt sorry for him. Added benefit, our older fridge top door freezer door opens on its own which is a problem with frozen food in the garage. We added a strap and solved that problem. Very good product for more than just stopping the kids.

In our home we have a very curious and mischievous 10 month old kitten who LOVES to open cabinets and doors to places she’s not allowed to go into especially when we are sleeping 😒.After one very early morning of her deciding to go on a kitten rager after opening our only bathroom cabinet and destroying whatever paper products we had I decided to look for some sort of kitten proofing.Based upon reviews I chose this product and I’m not disappointed! The adhesive is very strong and holds up to our loveable little hell raiser, very easy for humans to open as well. They are pretty idiot proof to install and very easy to remove with a hair dryer and a small tool to help with leverage (I used a butter knife to help me grip.) Fairly minimal damage to the paint as well (tiny little scuff) when removing. And now that she has learned how to break into our bedroom closet and scale up our clothing like a stealth little ninja to the top, these locks are EXTREMELY helpful in keeping her safe and help to restore oursanity.My only gripe is that once you set the lock it’s permanent, and can’t be re adjusted, but at how inexpensive these are they can be replaced fairly easily.Overall fantastic product! 9.5 out of 10!

We've used these for years with all three of our kids. They work great, the sticky lasts a long time but is easy to remove if you heat it up with a blow dryer.
