Fantastic, helpful, and well worth the cost!
I have purchase this twice, first for my 96 year old mother who finds it to be an excellent way to be sure and take her medications twice a day. It worked so well that we ordered one for my brother! Setting it up is very easy if you follow the directions on the brochure that's included. You just set the time and day, and then set the times you want the morning and evening alarms to go off. Not only does it sound the alarm, but it lights up the individual pill compartment that you need to take at that time. It's well made, and ensures that no mistakes or forgotten medications occur. Great product!

Life changing!
This has been an amazing product. I have struggled with making sure I don't take the same medication twice a day. I have struggled with overdosing accidentally. I have struggled with being able to find my medication. This has been an amazing product. I love that the light flashes longer than the sound after you hit the next button so that I don't have to sit and listen to it while I'm taking it. The light makes it easy to find the medication. There is Braille on each of the medical medication compartments and I love that. If I were to make a recommendation for improvement it would be I'm visually impaired so it would be nice to have some haptic feedback in the compartment with the light. I know this would make it a little more expensive but that would be an amazing feature for the visually impaired and as people get order older they begin to lose their vision. Thank you for such an awesome product. It's really made a difference and how I feel everyday.

DOES NOT LIVE UP TO ITS DESCRIPTION AT ALL
Does not live up to what it says it can do. The sound is not loud at all. It is difficult to program. Once programmed correctly it still goes off when it should not and and sometimes misses when it supposed to light up. Thought this was an answer to my prayers to help my Uncle be sure to take his meds on time. Was not an answer. I am giving it one star because I have to do that to get my review in.

defective from first supplier, second one from health care supplier was great.
Defective item. Placed batteries and unit would not come on or work, and batteries overheated within minutes, clearly something wrong with the circuitry or how it was assembled. Did try with second set of good (tested) batteries from another device, same result. We are returning and debating trying a second time, hoping the likelihood of two lemons is low?Edit - reordered from a different supplier, and it works fine. Buyer beware. the UW-based healthcare supply group sent us a good one, the overseas supplier sent defective one.First one - zero starsSecond one - five stars!Amazon made the return easy-peasy, thanks!

Perfect pile dispenser
This is the best pill dispenser on the market.once you set it up it’s foolproof.i take 5 pills a day ,2 in the morning 3 at night and the secret is to have a daily routine.i take the morning pills when I brush my teeth ,and night when I brush my teeth. I skip all the alarm set ups on this unit and mark one side AM and the other side PMEACK PILL BOX HAS THE DAY ON IT SO AFTER TAKING THE PILLS I DEPOSIT THE EMPTY PILL BOX IN THE BOWL.SO THAT PART OF THE DAY IS NOW EMPTY,TURN IT AROUND FOR PM ,SAME DEAL.SO IF YOU LOOK AT THE PILL DISPENSER AND THE DAY IS STILL THERE ,YOU KNOW YOU HAVENT TAKEN THE PILLS . FOOLPROOF,WORKS EVERYTIME

Lets you set multiple daily alarms—perfect for consistent AM/PM medication reminders.
Ah, got it—thanks for clarifying! You’re right. A natural flow that includes both the positives and negatives but ends on a strong, encouraging note works best. Here’s your original review, refined just slightly for clarity and tone, with that positive closing added in:⸻This was a Christmas gift from my son, and since I started using it, I’ve only missed my meds once—and that was because I was working upstairs and didn’t hear the alarm. The ability to set both morning and evening reminders has been incredibly helpful for keeping me consistent with my medication routine. The alarm is a bit loud and slightly annoying, but that’s actually a plus—it ensures you’ll hear it from most parts of the house and gets you moving when you need it. At first, I found it odd that each pill container pulls out individually, but I’ve grown to appreciate that feature—it prevents spills and makes it easy to take pills directly without fumbling. One of the biggest downsides, though, is the programming. While the device is supposed to support multiple alarms, actually setting them up is not intuitive. I’m generally tech-savvy, and even I couldn’t figure it out without help. There are only a few YouTube videos available, and the included instructions are vague at best—they don’t walk you through setting specific times in detail. My son figured it out eventually, but clearer, step-by-step instructions would make a big difference. Also, the AM/PM day labels aren’t aligned in a straightforward way—when you flip the case, the days don’t line up (Sunday isn’t on top of Sunday, for example). It can be confusing and almost led me to take PM pills in the morning once. This organizer is definitely made for home use, not travel—but despite those few quirks, once it’s set up, it’s made a big difference in helping me stay consistent with my daily medications. It’s a genuinely helpful tool, and I’m glad to have it.

Good for elderly woman with early dementia
My mom is a few years into a dementia diagnosis and she was struggling to maintain consistency with her meds. We were skeptical about this as a solution but decided to try it before escalating to more expensive personal care option. Since then, in 6 weeks she hasn’t missed a pill, so I’d say that’s a huge success. Way better than we expected. We set it up for AM/PM alarms. I used a PTouch label maker to label AM and PM on the device. This helps when refilling it to know which one is which. The big red button that says “NEXT ALERT” also wasn’t obvious to her as the way to turn alarm off and set it up for the “next alert”, so I used the label maker to provide some basic instructions too. It’s worth noting that when the alarm goes off, it actually flashes a red LED light on the actual little pill compartment that’s supposed to be consumed. Alarm is loud enough to be annoying from an adjacent room but won’t wake the neighbors. Compartments are small but hold ~7 pills each.
