Great Pan for Meatloaf in the Microwave Oven
SIMAX Clear Glass Fluted Bundt Pan 1.4 Quarts (5.4 Cups)Loved it. It is so light that you forget that it's made of glass. It feels like plastic. It's a pleasure to use because of how light it is. A pound of meatloaf fit perfectly in the small size and as you can see from the pictures the meatloaf came out perfect. The best part is that I can make a meatloaf in the microwave oven. I check it with a thermometer and wait until it reaches 180 degrees (I like to make sure it's well done) which is well passed the 160 degrees needed for beef. I put it back in the microwave and cook until it reaches 180 degrees. This took a total of 14 minutes to cook it. The glass is so clear that you can see the meatloaf as it cooks. I like slicing the meatloaf like a cake. I freeze the sliced pieces of meatloaf. This is the best pan ever.

The best part is that it is glass
The size was too small. But it is a great quality and moreover it is glass so you don’t have to deal with heavy metals anymore. The only reason for the 4 stars is that for my recipes the size is too small and the price is a little bit higher.

Bakes Beautifully without PFAs
During my initial research to find PFAS free bakeware I was a bit concerned about some of the reviews of the Simax glass bundt pans, uneven baking and difficulty in turning out the cakes. However, I use pyrex bakeware often so perhaps taking the plunge wasn't all that intimidating. A good price on Amazon, so I bought one to see if it baked as well as it looked. In brief, bakes beautifully, easy to clean, non-stick without 'forever chemical' coatings. Was surprised that it was quite lightweight. First baked an Apple Dapple bundt cake in it. Since it is glass, kicked down the heat from 350 F to 325 F (180 down to 160 in C) and baked a bit longer. Because it's glass I could watch the cake's progress and closer to the finish I inserted a wooden skewer in a few central spots to make sure it was done. Only a very few crumbs on the skewer so out it came. Waited about 20 minutes to turn it out of the pan and it slid right out. The center baking tube is slightly higher than the bowl rim but other than making sure I held on to the pan while centering the cake on the cooling rack no issue. Next, baked a family heirloom yeasted sweet dough recipe--Babka, Kugelhopf to see if my holiday specials would be on the table this season as well as gifted to family and friends. Absolutely! Since I bake a lot, especially during the holidays, I bought another Simax Bundt glass pan. I've baked quite a few test cakes so far and haven't had any difficulties. However, since it's glass and quite lightweight I'm thinking of purchasing a few spares just in case of kitchen klutz issues. Should mention that I grease the pan lightly with oil, getting the oil in every groove with a basting brush, but no flour or bread crumbs and the cakes just slide right out. Negatives? Not really, although wish Simax made a wider variety of bundt pan shapes, maybe some with deeper/sharper designs? Anyway, nothing to complain about and really love these glass beauties.

Love this!
Wish they had prettier designs in the glass material, but I’m thankful to have a nontoxic option for cakes and breads!

Almost perfection but still rounds to 5 stars
I've been looking for a glass bunt pan for a long time so I was very excited to find this one! When I opened it I was surprised to see how small it was (I got the 1.4 quart one) but it holds a standard cake mix (USA, 15ish oz) so I couldn't be happier. Pictures show before and after cooking; both fit fine without overrunning the grooves. It did great in the oven, cooling, and in the dishwasher. I didn't notice it cooking any differently than any other bunt pan I've used. The only thing that keeps it from perfection is the middle not having a hole. Washing it in the dishwasher has the center piece fill up with dirty water that the machine can't rinse away. It's fine if you catch it soon after the cycle's end and rinse it, it just takes a little longer w air drying bc the water will collect either in the non-hole or the grooves and need to be flipped before drying some more. It's glass of course, but it doesn't feel overly fragile. I'm going to store it in the box tho.Over all I'm extremely happy w the purchase and would buy again!-William's wife :)
