The picture quality is without doubt superb, and the night vision is the best I've seen.But there is a problem with images, if watching playback on the cameras built-in screen. The video shows enlarged distance E.G. if you are two yards from what is in front of you the video shows a distance more like ten to fifteen yards.However when down loaded everything is as it should, the distances are as they should be

Heard good things about this dash cam and what a disappointment it was when after one journey the picture went blank and never returned.

First off, the camera appears solid and well made. Small and light with a nice case. Fitting is simple depending on how easy it is to route the cable in your car. The cable is a straight forward USB to mini USB. It plugs into the camera at one end and a car USB adaptor at the other. For some reason mine didn't include the adaptor. Emailed the supplier and they said send it back. Decided to keep it as my car has USB built in.First time out was a short 5 minute journey and the camera failed to acquire any satellites. Same problem on the return journey. Not a lot of good in the event of an accident. Camera was located in the same place as my old Nextbase dashcam and that always picked up the satellites within about a minute. Relocated the camera to a different spot and it found satellites after about 1.5 minutes. Not really where I want it located but I’ll try other more suitable spots. The suggested 4K isn't actually 4K. It should record at 3840 x 2160 @30fps but the best you can expect is 2880 x 2160p @24fps. Playing back the video shows it recognised as 3840x2160. I think it maybe upscales the lower to the higher but that’s not really the same as recording in true 4K.Picture quality is good with lots of detail. Cloudy weather produces a fairly low light image and windscreen reflection is a minor problem but without a polarising filter, that’s going to happen. and I haven’t tried it after dark yet. I’ll edit this when I have. You can adjust the exposure so that may be worth a try. Biggest bugbear for me is the maximum card size of 64 Gb. 128 would have been better for anyone who drives a lot. Most modern dash cams take 128Gb cards these days. The app is useful as it allows you to change camera settings via WiFi. The Windows app (found on the Azdome website) is OK but is fairly basic.Value wise, it’s very good. If you wanted a true 4K camera you would need to look at the Nextbase 612 4K dashcam but that’s a lot more expensive and gets poorer reviews. I think it needs a lot of adjustment to settings to get the results as you want them. Time will tell but on first use I think it’s worth the money. Gave it four stars because I didn't get the USB car adaptorUpdate.After trying this out on several journeys I note that the satellite acquisition is really poor. Longest I had to wait was 11 minutes! My old dashcam managed it in about 90 seconds or less. I am returning this and replacing it with something more reliable. Star rating reduced to 3.

This can all be reviewed in a app as detailed to virwcroute and speed along side the footage.Various resolutions.Good micGood cable length and very secure stable mount.The only negative - I thought the built in wi-fi would be handy to copy data off, so not having to remove the unit or memory card each time... well it does work in all but the highest resolutions, the size of the data files just don’t make for streaming over its wi-fi and downloading would takes hours for just a few minutes. Lower red/Frame rate and the wi-fi is ok.

Has a resolution of 2880x2160 which is not 4K. In addition to this, using the rear camera accessory then limits you to 1080p 30fps front and analogue 30fps rear. The GPS on my model also does not function properly.The software both on the device and as part of the app are both buggy and unreliable. It sometimes requires a restart of the dash cam in order to access the menu.The suction cup and mounting bracket is however very high quality, you will struggle to get it off.

Camera is done really well, nice looking design with all the features camera must have. Quality of recorded video is amazing, with really good night picture mode. GPS and motion detection is reacting quickly.

Works like a dream, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.In comparison to my expensive dash cam there is no marked difference.
