PRO MART INDUSTRIES Pyramid Pop Up Hamper

Purchased 4/2019 Reviewed 3/2024. Just love these pop up bags for laundry & other uses. Like the space saving fold up/down option for storing these bags. Slide them under the bed or put in a closet or even behind an open door. Hang them from a hook, several since they compress down.They hold alot of clothes, whether folded after cleaning or before when all jumbled up. Easy to carry with the handles.I've used them for other things also. Ever gone shopping & bought more than you intended to. Well, where I live you have to pay for bags, so I just wheel the cart out to my vehicle & load up some of the stuff directly into the car -- these bags are great for items like cereal boxes/pouches, cookie boxes,bread,chip bags, in general, bulky large lightweight items. If I don't have a bag in the car already, I just go grab it when I get home & unload the items into the bag to carry into the house.Let's say you buy some new sheets,towels,curtains, etc -- again use a bag to corral items & carry into house. If you keep some of these in your vehicle you can put all kinds of items inside of them to keep them from rolling around in your car.I will often use these bags for recycling. Toss empty plastic CRV bottles into the bag. Rinsed out aluminum soda cans & then take them to the garage & put in proper container for trip to recycling center. Need to move something from one location to another, pop open bag & put stuff in it to carry several items at once.I find a lot of uses for these bags, in addition to laundry. I've used several different styles, widths, heights, etc. I like it when I can use an item different ways - multipurpose it. They also last a long time.

These make it easy to carry a full load of laundry in one hand. I love how light weight they are. They fold up when not in use. The handles are strong. The size is perfect. I will buy again.

The quality is excellent, just be aware that the square basket is pretty small. It fits half a load of laundry, at least in the context of a full size front loading washing machine. This would be great for small loads, like baby clothes or for a travel trailer. Would buy again, just in a bigger size.

i wanted a laundry basket that was1) foldable (space constraints)2) mesh (i use this for transferring wet laundry from the washer to the line, and for folding after dry)3) strong (to handle wet laundry)4) low height and wide opening so i can transfer wet clothes easily from our front loader washer5) affordable, it’s just a LAUNDRY basketthat’s all. shouldn’t be difficult, right?? well, when the predecessor basket (which went out of production) met its demise after 3 years of hauling laundry, who knew it would be so difficult to find a replacement?? well, it was and i went through 4 baskets before i finally found this one.at first glance, it does not look like it will hold 2 loads plus the bottle of detergent like in the pic but it’s roomier than it looks. check back in 3 years to see if it holds up :)

This basket is a life-saver. Really. Our laundry is in basement. I worry about falling carrying it up and down the stairs. This basket has sturdy handles and is amazingly light weight for the amount of dry and wet laundry it can carry.We can hold onto banister as we carry laundry to and fro. I have bought several baskets or bags to carry the laundry. This is the best!

We previously bought a product similar to this item. After using it daily for several years, it succumbed. So we began looking for the same item. Since the items were packaged we ended up with one that was too tall (we're elderly and have to carry it up and down the stairs because our W/D is downstairs). The other was much too big in every way. This one is not exactly like our first beloved basket, but it is close and easy to handle and small enough to carry. It does hold a load of clothes and the bottom is flat so it's easy to fold our clean clothes to transport upstairs. We are very happy once again with our clothes basket! (The usual clothes basket and the long rope baskets are much to cumbersome and we could easily lose our balance on the stairs.)

We have used this on multiple cruise trips and love it. It can be tricky to fold down but once you figure it out, it’s quick to fold onto itself and store in the attached bag. Can highly recommend.

So, many of these types of hampers are cheap and I find that I have to be very vigilant in searching through reviews, photos and asking questions to see if they are the quality units I want. That being said, what is a quality unit. Well, the handles have to be well constructed and loop AROUND the frame separately from the the other fabric: they do. The mesh and the stitching have to be sturdy fabric and not cheap: they are good. Those are the two basic things that distinguish the good units of these types of hampers from average poor cheap ones. If you want a sturdy unit that will last you longer, this is it! They are harder to find and, in my experience, about 1 in 20 are of this quality when looking at these types of hampers on the market... maybe less than that even.
