McGraw-Hill Education Math Grade 1, Second Edition 2nd Edition

My wife used these to review with with our grandchild. She said this book was most appropriate for the review and covered a variety of math problems well.

My son likes this book and so do I. The chapters have about 5 or 6 short lessons and a chapter test at the end.

I have used this textbook for teaching mathematics tochildren learning English as a second language. It provides them with a firm foundation in early mathematics. I feel it is better if it is not taught chronologically.

Student teaching.

This book gradually gets more challenging. I disagree with the starting point of the book being “counting shapes” but you have to start somewhere….I guess? Easy for my six year old.

My 1st grader can easily complete. Pretty good.
