White Dunes Shaving Soap in an Ornate Box

There aren't many options available when it comes to shaving soap in India.We all know there is our evergreen dirt cheap workhorse Godrej Shaving round, but its a mix bag, some don't like the dry post shave feel of it, where as some don't like its Grandpa smell. So normally India relies on their shaving creams from Godrej, Old Spice, Vicco and what not.But if you are a true wet shaver, you always love a good quality shaving soap, as you prefer making lather in your favorite shaving bowl. After all, wet shaving is meditation for us.Coming to the point, there was a huge void and wait when it comes to shaving soap here, well the wait is over, though there is a huge jump from 22rs. of godrej round to 585rs. of this.Trigodon has made 4 variants, and this one is the White Dunes, the catch line is this soap gives you a feeling of standing in a desert of white sand. Well i cant tell you about that, but it smells like a mild fresh fabric softener, very much on the aquatic fresh notes side. Primarily made of Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and Glycerine. Notes of cranberry, lemon, orange and jasmine.The USP of this soap for me is the beautiful ornate box it comes in, looks fantastic on my shelf, also it can be a permanent container for my future soaps.The performance, it produces ample amount of lather, very soft, gave a very close shave in my first pass with 7'o clock black blade and pearl tto razor.The post shave feel is fantastic, didn't dry out my face at all, left a mild fresh scent, didn't felt the need of using an aftershave.Overall, will buy all the variants of Trigodon Shaving Soaps and also this one again.Also all these are purely vegan, natural, no tallow or anything else.Comes with a thankful note from owner too.Great work, Trigodon, keep them coming forever, cheers.

A wonderful mild yet spicy small. Good lather and not hard to make lather out of it. But it is certainly not triple mulled. Just one issue and message to seller. This particular ornate box is nothing but an everyday steel dabba with some aluminium foil with design. So please its not all premium as you describe. Please work on it.....if you are charging so much please make it premium

MADE IN INDIA .opened the nicely made aluminium container skeptically.Surprised. Pleasant odour filled the room.Few seconds work up with the brush resulted in thick lather.Shave was smooth. If you have the habit of shaving after a bath, fresh feeling lasts at least till afternoon. Why did I buy this soap? Just to see why an Indian made soap is so costly.It's worth the money.You can forget the Gillet.Provided the company supplies replacements regularly.one additional advantage I found after using for few months, the blades are lasting longer.

It's nice, lathers well and you only need a little, about a pinch of the stuff for one shave so will last a long time. has a nice smell. The box is made of very good quality steel.

Meets the claim, has wonderful aroma. essential for perfect shave.i've been using shaving gels and foam and what not ever since i started shaving. this is by far the best product that gives thick lather and really moisturises skin. perfect..many thanks for making a great product at just the right price.slick would be the right word.

Smells great, lathers well though it could be a bit better. Doesn’t dry out your skin. Worth the money

Second time I bought Trigodon. First one white seas my son took abroad since its not available there. Foaming quality is the same like Trigodon white seas but fragrance is different.You should try shipping to US as well. My son will be the first buyer. He loves it.

Using this fabulous product since the past one month. I really do like the fragrance and as promised the post shave experience. Doesn’t leave the skin dry. Produces good lather. Will surely try the other products too. Worth buying. Keep up the good work Trigodon!
