Easy and works
I use this in my furnace and water heater condensate pump, and change it annually.

Not a flat granule
These are like ball bearings not flat as described. No instructions on bottle, on line said to empty half the bottle leave for 2 hours and flush. Did that and the pump locked up the granules did not dissolve. Left over night still not dissolved in process of taking unit apart not a fun job. Do not buy this product
