This is an amazing book for kids and adults alike. It's packed with facts about famous basketball stars and historical occurrances within the sport. I'll admit my favorite part wasn't even learning about the players, it was the section on incidents where animals interfered with the games. So funny and interesting! But I definitely did enjoy learning about Shaq, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, and the others. The activities in the back were fun too. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves basketball, and especially young fans.

The 11 profiles in this book are thorough and well-written. You really get to know the players and their background. It's all told in a style that is fun to read. And then you have the "Amazing Facts, Records, and Moments" which are amusing, much shorter stories. Sorry to be cliche, but really, if you know a youngster who is interested in basketball history, this is a slam dunk of a gift for them (or for yourself).

Enjoyed this book filled with the biography’s of top basketball stars going back to their early days. Actually preferred the second section of the book that had more of the little known facts and stories of of records made, fun moments as it had a lot of interesting information I hadn’t heard before - wish that section was longer. Also enjoyed the trivia at the end of the book!

It was entertaining to read and gave a good background on players.

The author's research is well done and concisely written in a short easy to read form. There are one page stories, fun facts at the end which are hilarious and games! Author could produce American Football stories next. Quality purchase, 5 stars!

Baker goes the extra mile with this book. He's chosen to highlight 10 of the most skilled and inspirational basketball players of all time he even took the time to develop seven games to play at the end of the book (solutions included). My favorite part of the book was the Amazing Facts, Records, and Moments. The Epic Basketball Blunders helps us all remember people can be highly skilled at something and still make mistakes. I'm ordering the paperback for my grandson for Christmas.

My basketball-loving boys, ages 8 and 10, enjoyed this book so much! I was so glad to see my boy, who does not like reading that much, read the entire book in a few hours.
