I expected the charcoal to be in the little bags already, but you get a bag of charcoal and bags to fill which was ok- but filling them up is kind of hard to do without making a mess. Worked in our filter.

WTF is this. I can only see one bag, scared to open it and have it go everywhere. Gonna return because if there is only one bag, it is now a lot harder to return once I opened it. Why are others showing the charcoal in a separate bag.

Works well

Great product. You can reuse the zippered filter pouches over and over, simply refill each time. Saves money. Fills all sizes, you simply put in less charcoal is you have a smaller filter. You could put ammonia-absorbing nuggets in the filter pounces (sacks) also.
