Steve Madden Women's Mayven Slide Sandal

Love the look, and style (look so similar to the Hermes slides). Fit well, and haven't had much trouble with blisters. So cute!

Bought the Mayven sandals in black. Love them but after two months the edges started curling badly! I’m out of my return window with Amazon so I message Steve Madden. They make me aware that the Steve Madden store on Amazon is not an authorized retailer. Therefore, Steve Madden will not honor any quality defect there might be for their shoes. Steve Madden also told me that they made Amazon aware of the error on Amazon‘s end and I was told to speak to someone in management and have this escalated so I could get some assistance. Amazon told me they cannot help me and did say that this store is not an authorized retailer. Steve Madden told me that they cannot help me either. Just making everyone else aware incase you have the same issue! I would purchase from Steve Madden directly!

I love the look of these shoes. They’re very cute, and give a very similar look to the Hermes sandals for a more reasonable price. They’re also good quality and seem sturdy. My only issue is these are so uncomfortable. They’re very heavy and difficult to walk around in for a long period of time. It also took me a few wears to break them in, so the first 3 wears were super rough. I’ve finally broken them in and they’re more comfortable now, but still uncomfortable. I wouldn’t wear these on a day where I know I’ll be walking around a lot because I know I would be miserable. I feel like they fit pretty true to size. I’m usually a 9.5 to 10, and I got these in a size 10 and they fit. My feet are a little wide, and I don’t have many issues. If you have wide feet, you may want to consider sizing up. Overall, I would recommend these but just be cautious of where and how long you’ll be wearing them.

I ordered these Steve Madden sandals in color Black, size 8.5. They are trendy as a dupe of the Hermes Chypre Sandal that sells for over $800. Just note, they are heavy/clunky and not the most comfortable sandal style to walk in. I also suggest sizing up a 1/2 size, so if you are a size 8.5, order a 9, etc. Despite this, I opted to keep them.

The media could not be loaded. Wearing a 8.5 size. These are gorgeous shoes but not product tested enough. They pinch the skin on the top of your feet and the foot toe box part is too tight to fit wider/tall feet. The leather is buttery soft however is cause ur foot to slip out. It also squeaks a lot when walking on hard floors. I think these would work best for people with narrow and short feet.

Extremely comfortable adjustable sandals. The sandals can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. Good quality shoe and good value for money. They also support your feet well enough for walking long distances like exploring on vacation. I’ve never had any issues wearing these sandals all summer. Definitely is a summer wardrobe staple.
