It does everything I expect it to do.I like the white colour as it fits in better with the kitchen decor - and so is less obtrusive.Delivery of the item was very quick and efficient.

Good for a sewing machine
I got this for a sewing machine I brought back from the US. The sewing machine has a AC to DC adapter inside which is what prompted me to buy it (the US to UK difference is not only voltage but also in frequency).Caveat: the machine I have uses around 60VA, so I got such a big transformer to be on the "really" safe side. I have forgotten the machine turned on for a whole day and the transformer was just fine, didn't even get warm.I would certainly recommend it for an appliance like that. My transformer came with two US-plugs, not one like shown in the picture.
