Coal Tar Ointment In Plastic Jar Is Awesome
This coal tar product really did help my hands I have unbearable itching and burning on palms and it does help me. I imagine it would help others but it really depends on the individual and what affliction they are dealing with. I think it was worth the money Also I'm so glad it came in a jar. The tubes run out very quickly and some days I can't stand the pain of squeezing tubes and you can't get the last gobs of product out unless you cut the foil tube open. Cutting those tubes is asking for a serious cut on your hand. Those foil tubes when cut open, could be used as a weapon. They are seriously sharp. So I am thinking I may stick with buying jars for all of these products. I guess pump bottles are ok too. Bye for now❤️ groovyjoan

It Works
This is amazing my skin started clearing up after the 3rd day in use. The only thing i did not like is the smell. The smell is like a car oil smell. But if it works then i will deal with it.

But still, the seal!! What a mess!
I am putting together a care package for a family member. At this point, the ointment has not been tested for effectiveness. The package was delivered today in this horrible condition. The product had melted and approximately ¼ of the container had leaked, wasting$3+. The inner seal was not sealed. I won't go to the trouble to return it for the price but the manufacturer should rectify this. There ARE solutions! I might suggest to a buyer that ordering in the winter should prevent melting. But still, the seal!! What a mess!

Definitely works. Give it time.
UPDATE#2I'm going to Retract my original review Because I am finally seeing changes. Positive changes, so this stuff is pretty good.UPDATE:So I had to take a couple stars away. Becuz as great as I thought this treatment was, the scaling Comes right back within a day or 2, So heck, I can buy cortisone for a dollar and it does the same thing. So I am disappointed to a point. I guess you have to keep putting this stuff on several times a day for the rest of your life to keep it off.So all these fancy creams and stuff are just a waste of money. The white Scaly skin is gone After just a couple applications but came back, it's still in my ears but it has calmed down. I still have the red spots, I will update after a month if the red spots are gone or not.It does not stink. It's a little greasy because it's an ointment.

Highly effective on psoriasis.
I have unfortunately come down with psoriasis. I was prescribed an ointment, Calcipotriene 0.005%. It had no effect whatsoever. It's expensive to boot. I'm not too proud to try a hillbilly remedy. I've only used this for a week and the patch of piled up scaly skin has nearly disappeared.

Complete and absolute NO from me
I don't know what exactly to give this because it didn't just not work for me, it made my psoriasis worse. It came dermatology approved. Yeah, no. My psoriasis itched worse after the fact than without it. I ended up throwing it away without even 1/4 of the jar being used. This stuff has SO many ingredients in it. Coal tar alone has over 100. The dermatologist gave me anti-itch cream that, by itself, worked wonderfully at controlling the itch for several days at a time. This stuff made it all itch despite using the anti-itch cream (betamethsone dipropionate cream USP -augmented- .05%) every single day until I killed it. It took almost a week for my skin (shins and calves) to calm down. Both of my shines used to match. Used to! My left foot was broken for me by a coworker and the cast was more tightly applied at the bottom than at the top. I could get my whole hand snugly down inside the top of the cast that came to my knee. I wore it for almost 5 months. I was paranoid that it was going to itch me to death, but it never did at all. When the cast was removed, the psoriasis on my left shin and calf were completely gone. It's taken 5 years for it to even begin to return and it's not even 1/4 the way there. So I'm going to get a cast kit and run that same exact thing on my right leg. The Unna Boot the dermatologist said for me to get and try is going to bankrupt me when the cast is cheaper. But this never ever worked as described.
