I have very fine, silky, wavy/curly hair. I don't use heat and haven't colored it, but I live in a tropical climate, and my hair is exposed constantly to strong sun and ocean salt. I struggle with damage from environmental conditions, and have started using a silk bonnet at night and regular bond builders to combat damage at the ends. I realized recently that mechanical damage (sleeping on cotton pillowcases, seatbelts, hoodies, hats, purse straps), along with the sun and wind, are enough to cause ongoing damage that causes breakage and is preventing my hair from getting longer than low/mid back. About six months ago, I started to take more care to avoid friction on my hair, began regular use of bond builders, and found better products for my hair. This combination, along with sleeping in a silk bonnet and using a silk pillowcase, have allowed my hair to grow significantly longer and thicker. I wanted another product to help strengthen and fortify my hair, and thought a rice water product might help.I used this product after shampooing and before conditioning, as the instructions state. The product is thicker than I expected, more the consistency of a conditioner than a watery rinse. When I rinsed the product out, I was shocked by how silky and soft my hair felt, even before conditioning.Now that my hair is dry, it's super soft and detangled, and feels light and bouncy. I'll definitely keep using this product and look forward to seeing what the cumulative results look like. For such an inexpensive price, I think this is a great product to strengthen and soften hair, especially if you have fine, wavy, or curly hair that needs protein.EDIT: I have been using this product once or twice a week for about three months. It continues to be one of (if not THE) most effective product I've ever found to improve the condition of my hair. It makes my hair softer and more shiny than anything else I've tried, and actually takes away frizz. It also really makes curls pop.

I love this product. It smells so nice and can be used both pre and post shampoo for really manageable, soft, shiny hair. It beats products I’ve spent much more on.

This product is great. It leaves my hair feeling refreshed and soft and gives it a real shine. I leave it in for about 10 minutes in my showers instead of the recommended 3 to 5 and it has actually helped my dandruff to go away! Would seriously recommend this product

I’ve been using this as a pre wash for about a month now and I can tell a difference in the amount of breakage. It does have a strong smell that is somewhat medicinal, which is why I’d recommend using it as a pre wash. I like that it’s gluten free and vegan.

I’m going to be honest I tried this it gives a soft feeling but it didn’t work for me but it did for my mom and the friend that recommended it

I love hairitages line of products and i usally purchase this in walmart but it always seems to be sold out in there now so ive converted to ordering it its a wonderful product i always get complemints on my hairs shine and smell aswell it smells wonderful
