3/4" NPT Female to BSP Male Thread Adaptor American to UK Thread

Wanted to connect American NPT fitting on old Victorian garden hose reel to a new garden hose swivel fitting.. this did the job perfectly. Of course it's expensive when you consider the weight of metal involved but I needed it.

Who might have imagined that, in our world of disparate standards and non-matching parts we would find nothing better than to maintain two nearly identical, yet incompatible hose connections between the US and UK? Such, alas is the case, and this grotesque reality being what it is, who would have guessed that cheap plastic converters and adapters would be essentially impossible to find? This adapter comes to the rescue, albeit in a very high-end (and priced to match) version, of noble construction, and built to last. The only reproach possible, other than the high price, is that it is quite heavy, and this could be a nuisance if paired with some light weight nozzle imported for the US. Other than this, it is irreprochable, of fantastic quality, heavy brass and built to last a lifetime. In case anyone is seeking clarification: the MALE end is the US standard, made to thread into a nozzle or sprinkler purchased in the US, while the FEMALE end is the UK standard, designed to mate with UK hoses and Hozelock hardware. Also please note this adapter is supplied with no hose washer, so you will have to supply a hose washer separately.
