I absolutely love the Lineon Erasable Gel Pens! The 12 vibrant colors make writing, drawing, and planning so much more fun and colorful. The fine point is perfect for detailed work, whether it’s journaling, coloring, or doing crossword puzzles.What really sets these pens apart is the erasable ink — mistakes literally disappear with a simple rub of the eraser on the clicker. This feature gives me the confidence to write freely without worrying about errors.The pens click easily and feel comfortable in hand, making long writing sessions smooth and enjoyable. Plus, the ink dries quickly and doesn’t smudge, which is a huge plus.

I bought these after buying another brand that were three times the price and I have to say these pens are awesome. I love the color selection and they erase well. Definitely worth purchasing if you’re into colored pens.

I bought these erasable pens about 3 months prior to writing this review. I have only ever used a couple of the colors a handful of times and only on regular paper. I tend to make a lot of mistakes when writing, so erasable pens are a great option for me.The reason I'm writing this review now is because today, I remembered I had an unused Rocketbook. I know I'm only supposed to use the Frixon brand pens on it but, being the rebel the I am, I thought I'd put these generic pens to the test.(Plus, I'm the kind of person that would waste 2 hours of my valuable time doing dumb things instead of spending those hours doing the responsible thing...)So I decided to conduct a science experiment using whatever steps I could remember from 2nd grade.(DON'T @ me, scientists! You're expecting too much from someone who would eat gum from under a restaurant table.)=======Here's the question(s) I wanted answered:Q: How do the different brands compare when it comes to:- Flow- Erasability- Wipe-ability- Drying time- Reuse-abilityControl:- I used 2 different pages out of my Rocketbook to conduct the test. Each pen had its own designated page, and each page has never been used before.Specimens tested:- A new Frixon brand pen (purchased the day of the test)- The dark blue generic pen from this listing. I used it once on regular paper maybe a couple months ago. (May have had a slight disadvantage.)Additional tools used:- New-ish Rocketbook (only the first page has ever been written on and that page was not used in this experiment.)- Stopwatch from my trusty iPhone.- 1 water wipe pulled fresh from the packageHypothesis:Since the Frixon brand was specified by the Rocketbook company, I hypothesized it would work better on the actual Rocketbook pages.Process:1. (Flow) I wrote a sentence on top of the pen's designated page to see how well the pen wrote.2. (Erasability) I scribbled in a small section, let the ink dry, then erased the ink using the eraser it came with.3. (Wipe-ability) I scribbled in a different, small section of the page, let the ink dry, then wiped it clean using my handy-dandy water wipe.4. (Drying time) I wrote on the page, waited a designated amount of time, and quickly rubbed my finger across the ink to see if it smeared.5. I repeated step 4 on a new line until the pen no longer smeared. Each time adding 5 seconds on the stopwatch.6. (Reuse-ability) Next, I scribbled onto 2 separate areas of the page. I erased the first patch of scribbles using the respective eraser. The second patch was wiped clean with the same water wipe used in step 3.(*I waited for the page to dry before continuing on.)7. I wrote over both erased and wiped sections of the page to see if the ink flow changed once the page had been used.8. I took a sip of my coffee, yelled at my kids to leave me alone (since I'm doing something very important here!), and compared the results.=======Observations:=======- Flow:At first, the generic brand had a more consistent flow of ink. I later realized that since the Frixon pen was new, it may have needed to be "primed" a bit more before being tested... After the test was complete (and both had equal use), they appeared to have a similar flow.- Erasability:Both pens left behind visible, yet faint lines where the ink was. However, the lines left behind from the Frixon pen was more visible than the generic pen.- Wipe-ability:The ink from either pen was equally clean once wiped. (No indents in the paper or lines remained visible.)- Drying time:The generic brand (sold by Lineon) smeared less from the start and was completely dry by the 15 second mark. The Frixon pen smeared much easier and dried 5 seconds slower. In total, it took approximately 20 seconds for the Frixon ink to dry. Even then, one spot of the Frixon ink transfered onto my finger as opposed to smearing on the page.- Reuse-ability:(Erased area - Frixon)Unfortunately, both pens struggled to write over an erased section of the page. They did, however, recover quickly once they made it off of that section.(Wiped area - Frixon)The Frixon brand pen really struggled to write over the area that had been erased. It struggled less when writing over the area that had been wiped clean.(Erased area - Generic)The generic brand also struggled when writing over the erased section, albeit less than the Frixon pen.(Wiped area - Generic)The flow of the ink was almost unimpeded when writing over the area that had been wiped clean. Nothing that would prevent me from using it.========Conclusion:========I was thoroughly unimpressed with the Frixon brand pen and IMHO, the generic brand won this battle...So yeah. I'm DEFINITELY sticking with these pens instead of the Frixon brand. These pens are more affordable, have more color options, and held up against the more reputable competition.=========Final Recommendations:I would recommend these generic brand pens and only wipe your Rocketbook clean (as opposed to erasing it).Final Final Recommendations:Please click on the "Helpful" button below if this review had any influence on your purchase. I discovered erasable pens and then quickly found out they are not all equal. But long story short, they're pretty close... decent color, good erasing...First pics show writing/colors. Last 3 show disappearing with heat, coming back after one minute in freezer, then after several mins in freezer.Lineon Erasable Gel Pens: These feel pretty nice and have a vibrant ink. There's two turquoise that look like the same color, and a 3rd pen that's also very similar. Colors a little less vibrant than Frixion Color Sticks and Parkoo. Color fades with heat and comes back immediately with cold. Insert says that "the ink will fade with time passing by for its erasable nature". I'm wondering if this is true for all erasable pens but the only information I've found online about fading is around hot and cold. Something to consider if you're using these in a journal or something you want to keep. Insert also specifies not to use these for official documents or writing addresses on mail.Parkoo Erasable Gel Pens: Most vibrant and my favorite choice of color options. Nice to hold and erase extra well like the Lineon. These come back with cold immediately too after disappearing due to heat.Pilot Frixion Clicker Gel Pens: These have a nice wet ink compared to the other Pilot clicker pens that write more like a traditional pen. They're not as nice to hold, but I found and used these first for awhile before I tried the others, and I never thought, "Oh these don't feel great to hold...". And on the plus side, they're more streamlined - so if you're like me and have a writing utensil obsession, these take up considerably less space than the fatter pens with the grips. These also erase a little better than the Pilot clicker pens. But the off brands both erased the best for me. (They all erase plenty well enough in my opinion). More expensive and fewer colors than the off-brands too. Disappears with heat and doesn't come back as strong as the off-brands with cold. Unclear if it fades over time.Pilot Frixion Clicker Gel Pens: my least favorite color-wise; not as vibrant and write more like traditional pens than the nicer wetter inks of the other three sets. They are nicer to hold with the rubber grip. More expensive and fewer colors than off brands. Disappears with heat and doesn't come back as strong as the off-brands with cold. Unclear if it fades over time. My least favorite overall.I ordered the Vanstek pens too but they are slow to ship so maybe next time...Happy writing!

I’ve been using these bad boys since I got them and I love the quality and how well it works especially to erase and the function of it amazes me. They haven’t broke and the ink doesn’t smudge!
