Carpeted our classic car with ease! Looks fantastic! Also carpeted the trunks on this and another classic. Cheaper solution than a carpet kit when you’re in a pinch. Pretty tough too, we hope it lasts a while. I’ll be happy if I get 5 years out it since we only drive it twice a month. We put in new floor mats for added protection.

When looking around for some nice, OEM-looking automotive carpet to use on a custom car camping setup I built with my friend, I had a lot of uncertainty whether I could find a material that would look and work the way I expected. Looking at product photos and customer review photos was helpful but still left me with some doubt. With this in mind I attached some detailed photos of the material to help others. This stuff exceeded all of my expectations!I used to design custom speaker enclosures and this is some of the best carpet I've worked with! It's a tad bit thicker than what I'm used to but it turned out prefect and I wouldn't want it any thinner (or thicker). This stuff stretches nicely which is helpful for making clean edges and rounded corners. It's non-woven so it's not like craft felt, yet it has good structure and some light will pass through if you hold it up. It laid down beautifully with some 3M Super 77 spray adhesive. It's a nearly perfect match to the OEM trunk carpet on a 2023 Toyota RAV4 (see images).I saw some complaints that the material comes folded instead of rolled up, leaving creases in the material. I was able to quickly remove the creases using a handheld garment steamer (an iron with steam would work too).Pro tip: Don't run screws or drill bits directly through material like this; it will snag and mess up your project. This plastic fiber material melts nicely so use a soldering iron to pilot your holes. This will melt the material around the hole into a plastic ring which will allow you to install/remove screws without ruining the material. (see images)I'm extremely pleased with this material and the results of my project! If you're looking for carpet to use in an automotive project, this is it!

This stuff is pretty thick but easily stretched. Used it to build a custom 2x12 guitar cab. Seems to work well so far but time will tell. Overall I’m happy

This is good carpet for covering sub enclosures. If you are carpeting something that has more angles than a square box it can be alittle tough as this carpet does not stretch very much. It is well made carpet though.

Worked great, solid black color & easy to work with for stretching corners & making cuts. Used it for some wood panels I made for my car and have no complaints. Matched up with my OEM carpet really well and seamless - you will likely need to use a steamer to get rid of fold lines but that was a quick fix before I applied it

Lowest price I’ve found for a light medium weight, dark charcoal carpet. Perfect for use to cover a speaker box or amp rack. Matches well with most vehicle trunk interiors.

This is without question the worst product ever sold on Amazon. This is not carpet material, rather it's more like a thick felt. The two glaring problems that I encountered when I tried to use this stuff to cover a speaker cabinet were:1. When you try to stretch this material to cover a box the threads start to pull apart leaving a very thin and tight look in one area and thick and bunched look in another area.2. This material WILL NOT cut cleanly no matter what type of blade you use. There are always threads that don't get cut leaving an edgy and sloppy looking seam.I've only used it on one of the two speaker cabinets that I'm building, and that box is now ruined because I can't get the threads from the fabric off of the MDF surface. This box will need to be rebuilt.Save yourself a little money and a lot of aggravation and stay away from this stuff. IT'S JUNK!
