Excellent product

Works great for playing Switch games on a laptop (Mac) screen
Bought this to connect my Nintendo Switch to my Mac, so I could play games on a bigger screen. I’ve previously been put off using these capture cards by people who said they add too much latency (so what you see on the screen lags behind your inputs). However, this adds no latency that I can discern (I am not an elite gamer). Used the excellent open source OBS app on my Mac (available for Windows) and it works really nicely with this card, giving me a full screen 1920x1080 Switch display on my laptop’s screen. Getting the sound input working was a bit of a fiddle, and is mostly down to configuring your OS to pass the audio input through to OBS - read the guides and be persistent :-).

Functional bit of kit
Works as intended, used with a Nintendo switch, small amount of delay but overall a pretty handy bit of kit to have. Small down side of refresh rate seems to be limited to 60Hz.

Works with metaquest 3
Very pleased for the price and it is quite compact compared to some similar devices. Works perfectly with my Metaquest 3 VR goggles.

Captured colours are totally off
The card works to a certain degree however the colours are totally off. I can work around this using settings changes on software but the results are still off. Will be replacing with a better quality capture card as this is not fit for purpose.

Great device.
Worked with OBS out of the box on my Win11 HP laptop. Also worked with OBS on my Ubuntu 22.04 LT without issue.

Good capture card
As someone who likes to stream this is the perfect capture card for its value with good audio quality. The capture card doesn’t heat up too much depending on what your using it for and the resolution itself is good but I haven’t notice any lag even though if your a streamer it might be a tiny bit behind but overall it’s good.

Great starter.
Looking for a cheap capture card to experiment with connecting my Xbox to Meta Quest 3.Tried this and works perfectly, great buy to start off.Would suggest ordering a right angle USB C connector to go with it so it connects better to the headset.
