Q: What is the difference between the e3dv6 and the mk8. i have an ender 3 pro and do not know which to purchase.

MK8 is the nozzle type for Ender3 series, including the Ender3 Pro. E3DV6 is a general design use by Prusa and other open source printers. E3DV6 and MK8 both use standard M6 thread, but is E3DV6's thread length is a little bit longer, so E3DV6 can also be installed on the Ender3 (small section of thread will expose, should not be an issue) but MK8 nozzles may not be used on extruders that require E3DV6 design.

don't bother getting it I had to get a replacement for mine and that is defective also

Q: Because of the ruby tip to get z offset will doing the paper method damage it?

I got the ruby tip for the same reason everyone else did..... IT'S ABRASION RESISTANT!!! So, no. Paper will not hurt it.

Q: Is this good to print nylon?

Nothing is good to print nylon; see relevant clips on YOUTUBE!!
