Really powerful magnets. I have metal cabinets in my garage and these are great for holding all kinds of stuff on the cabinet doors and cabinet walls, inside and out. A single bar can hold a pair of gloves. Another one on the cabinet door to hold a diagram while I work. One on the bottom of the overhead cabinet to hold a razor knife. One to hold a mechanical pencil. This is the second set I purchased. Just don't pinch you finger between two of them. Can be a bit of a pain pulling one off sometimes, even using plyers.

As advertised, great on a cruise, and when I unpacked at home I started seeing even more uses for them. I use mega-glue or whatever on these super-strong magnets to attach them to whatever I need to STAY PUT. Find the nearest metal surface and voila! Were all magnets kinda "puny" when I was a kid??? I never considered using magnets for the variety of items these magnets support. Anyway, these are STRONG and have many, many uses during cruises and at home.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I used four of these magnets to attach two flat metal deer-horned knives together so that I can switch back and forth between a thunder ring, a wind-fire-wheel, and the two separate deer-horned knives. Holding together beautifully under a whole body spin. Dance and martial arts are one. Happy!

I bought these so that I can stick a u-channel rail to my garage door that holds my govee curtain lights. These magnets are fairly small but very strong. As others have mentioned, be very careful when separating and handling these magnets as they will break into pieces. I had 4 break on me while I was working with them. This is partially my fault as I should have moved the stack further away from my work area. Otherwise, I used a 2 part epoxy glue instead of the included adhesive strips because some review indicate poor adhesion and I only want to mess with it once. The hold is incredible. They work very well for its intended purpose. I only needed 6, but I’m glad I bought a bigger pack because I did break several and I accidentally glues a couple together. I would buy them again if needed.

I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

It was very hard to separate the magnets; they are very strong. Trying to slide them off was very difficult and I ended up using the blade part of a pair of scissors to slid them off. It helped a little because the magnets attached to the scissors, but 2 of the magnet still broke in half. Now I had to remove the half, which were very sharp and could not be used because they were sharp.As I got each one apart, I put the provided adhesive strip on the back. The magnet were to be used to hold pressboard letters on my metal garage. I adhered the strips to the magnets on the pressboard and let it sit overnight. In the morning I placed the letters on my garage and when I lifted letters to adjust, the magnets came off the pressboard and stuck to the garage door! Then came the task of trying to get the magnets off the garage door. Sliding was not possible since the adhesive on the magnet prevented sliding. I ended up getting a thin screwdriver and getting under the magnet a little and then got them to attach to the other stack of magnets to pull them off.I have now glued the magnets to the pressboard and am waiting 24 hours to make sure they are adhered to pressboard before trying to hang letters. Hopefully, they will not come off the pressboard again when I place the letters with the magnets back on the garage. We will see tomorrow.

These come in so handy, I can't begin to tell you.I taped one to fishing line to recover an expensive part that fell behind my workbench - SUCCESS!

These are very strong magnets, however the adhesive strips don't hold very well. Ended up super glueing them instead.
