I have a Keurig B40 at home and a Keurig K45 at work that have 48 oz water reservoirs. These models come with a removable drip tray that will collect any overflows that might occur. This drip tray simply slides in and slides out. If I remove the drip tray this mug just fits under the spout. I like strong coffee and usually use two K cups per 20 oz. mug by selecting the middle setting twice (my models are not digital and have 3 button size settings). There is just enough room to tip the mug slightly and remove it from under the spout. By selecting the two settings that I use, this will leave about 1 1/2 inches of clearance from the level of the coffee and the top of the mug...enough space that allows you to tip the mug slightly and removed it without spilling a drop! I can't speak for other models but this mug works perfectly with both models that I have with the drip tray removed. Wish I could post pictures...I show you what I mean. It's like a large reusable Starbucks cup, so the opening of the lid is an oval, so you could use a straw if it's pliable to fit through the opening.
