Don’t keep the food warm, I put hot water like they said before food, and 2 hrs later food is cold.

If you are looking for a container that will keep your food hot for greater than 3 hours this is not the one. An hour may be the longest the stainless steel bento will maintain heat. Writer did not purchase item for the purpose of keeping food cold or hot for a certain amount of time but the stainless steel bento is an excellent carrier for lunches and hold quite a bite of food.The one down side is when you first receive the product and attempt to unscrew the tops off each containers, it is nearly impossible to unscrew. If you have a weak grip or have arthritis in your hands you will not be able to unscrew the tops off. Writer raised up the tap on the center of the top thinking the suction volume would be release with the ability to take off the tops, NOPE did not happen. Writer than ran cold water around the rims of the container, still could not unscrew the tops; writer than trying soaking the containers in dish water, NOPE was still not able to unscrew with bare hand.Finally after much straining using writer bare hands, decided to use a pot holder that was rubber to see if placing the rubber holder around the base of the container with one hand and twisting the top with writer other bare hand would the top come off, well what do you know the top budge slightly until finally the tops came off.Writer used the containers and notice if you screw the tops on too tight you will have the same challenges in trying to unscrew the tops.Hope this help in your decision making process

Excelente calidad! Obvio no se pueden calentar en microondas, pero aguanta muy bien la comida! Se ven lindos y caben en todos lados. La lonchera se ve pequeña pero caben muchísimas cosas.

I don’t use the containers very often but use the carrier everyday. Keeps things cool with a small block cooler. Fits 2 water bottles, 1 peanut butter and jelly, small bag of carrots and a banana. Perfect.

Easy to use, easy to clean. I like the round shape of the containers, which is suitable both for the soups/entree and desserts.

These are attractive, compact and look like they would be great for travel.However, upon opening the box, the smell of plastic was overwhelming! I've washed the stainless 3x and I can still smell that cheap metal smell. I will be returning without using because of the smell and the fact that I don't want to put food into something that has this plastic odor.As far as ease of use, I couldn't even get them open when they were empty! There is a cheap plastic vent (picture) that your supposed to open for hot food, the containers are a very thin stainless inside but even worse, the threaded part to screw on the lids (once you get them off) is plastic, which I do not think will hold up over any length of time. I have let these containers sit out in the air for several days, mostly because I wanted to give them a chance, but they still smell of plastic.The insulation factor is really also an issue. The bag is nicely designed, but cheaply made.Sorry, but when you order an item that comes with a disclaimer that tells you "To be Honest, as such a cost it's thermal effect cannot match expensive hot food jar"...Probably should be putting that statement in the product description!
