ZojirushiStainless Steel Mug, 16 ounce, Black Matte

Love this bottle -- this is my second one. (The first still works fine, it just got dinged up in a traumatic fall so it's now the designated one for rough use while the unscarred one is for when I want something that's still 'pretty'.) It's big enough, sturdy, lockable, and keeps drinks cold for a LONG time (I've had ice last as much as 12 hours). Haven't used it for hot drinks, but I suspect it would perform for those as well.

Wonderful product that is well made, durable, lovely bright color, and easy to clean design which is help to keep stains/odors/bacteria away. This is the second one I have purchased with the first one being about 7 years ago. I lost the other one in a move but I was always pleasantly surprised by how amazing the temperature control is. Easy keeps hot liquids warm to 7/8+ (becomes warm about 4/5 hours in)

I like that my water stayed cold as long as a Yeti. The carbonated water in it stayed fizzy for just as long. When it's carbonated and you open it, it goes pop from it being a tight seal. It will be less so, the more you open it, but still is fizzy, just a bit less. I like it and this is now my go to for cold drinks. Could you make a slip on handle to buy for easier use due to my thumb joints being bad ? I got this one because it was slim and I could hold it better, but I'd still like a handle. Maybe the part around the bottle made with silicone so it has staying power and a wider, rounded handle for young and old hands. The price was reasonable for the quality and durability, and has been the easiest bottle to use. I don’t lose a cap, I just pop the button and it's ready for me.Closes easily. Love, love, love these bottles. I make sure to get the ones that are slicksteel interior so there is no harmful products on the interior and they are still extremely easy to clean. This color is so fun and I'm not normally a bright color person, but love this bottle. Lovely orange, mechanisms all work perfectly and keeps my liquids, hot or cold. It was a great deal as well! I have a couple of these bottles. Just gotta make sure you don't put coffee in one you want to use for other things. The smell comes out of most of it except the one rubber ring. Therefore, you should have one just for coffee :)

Incredibly durable. I've cared the same Zojirushi 20 oz for nearly 12 years. Finally gave in a replaced the dinged and scratched favorite merely to clean up my act. It truly keeps my coffee cold from the moment I fill it. Sometimes, when I am returning home in the evening I can still have the last very warm sips to finish.Never leaks and is truly one handed for on the go. Fits easily in cup container slots in cars and makes a mean night stick style deterrent to anyone trying to get frisky late at night. All in a great Coffee thermos. Does ice cold beverages as well. Though I'd recommend getting a second one for just cold. Costs a bit more but truly worth it. 5 stars!

I love Zoji mugs and I am glad I could find a Slicksteel one. I really wish they made Slicksteel ones in the same color as their teflon coated tumblers but this orange one has a sparkly underlayer to the orange so it looks cool anyway. I have always thought this design was really easy to drink from and superior to other brands that way, but the mouth piece is hard to clean and separating the parts each time is a pain. Do not put the mug in the dishwasher, you'll wear away the bottom sticker that covers the lead sealing, and potentially expose yourself to lead, just like with the Stanley cups. This is far superior to those though and will keep your drink warm or cold all day. Get a bottle brush for it because the mouth is narrow which makes cleaning harder. It also means you can't brew coffee directly into it with most brewers, which is unfortunate as you need the extra step of using and washing a carafe. Overall it is a most elite drinking vessel and I will continue to enjoy it, but it comes with those caveats.

I was disappointed that this does not come in many colors. Well, that is if you do not want the coated (inside) version, and you want the bigger 20 oz size, I think this is the only Zoji option. And I definitely did not want orange (or Pac Man?!?!), so I got the black one. It is actually very nice, so I no longer mind having to get black. It is not a boring gloomy solid black but kind of metallic (like paint on a car, but not glossy). I had gotten a different model for a smaller 16 oz size -- the model with the fatter cap and straight body. I like that one too. Both have what are called "SlickSteel" interior but this black-or-orange model is not as shiny inside, so apparently the Zoji process for making it has changed. Also, this one has one less gasket (one instead of two rings) although I did not mind two. I like that the rings can be removed for cleaning and also that you can buy replacements. In fact you can buy replacement lids in case you break the lid. So I think these will last me a lifetime. Both models hold the temperature extremely well, and both look great.Also, most people probably already know, but the State of California warning on the packaging is just because the product is stainless steel, and stainless steel is made with chromium and nickel (which is "known it the state of CA to be toxic...). The chromium does not leach out and harm you. Really the only reason the label is on so much stuff is trolls bring lawsuits against companies to collect money because of a crazy law, and the label protects agains those lawsuits. It is too bad because it alarms some people. Do some research and don't get upset about the scary labels.
