Roughneck ROU52060 Heavy Duty Wire Scrub Brush

Really strong brush. Takes the moss of my garden floor with minimal effort - used to be a laborious job. After a fair amount of use, the bristles are as good as new.

Strong and sturdy brush. I bought this for my garden pavement and wooden decking. I no longer have a pressure washer so thought I'd use this. It did the job removing what seemed to be years of dirt and grime built up on the surface. I used the brush with and without a handle. I found it was much easier to scrub the dirtier slabs of concrete and bits of the decking without the handle as there’s more pressure put on the brush. As this was a one-woman job I worked on the garden and decking tackling one area at a time. I have successfully cleaned the decking and full garden but the state of the brush now is quite bad, some of the bristles have come off. Would only recommend this for a small job as it takes a lot of time and effort for 1 person and a medium sized garden.

Have not used the brush yet so can't give a review on the performance but I will give a review of the size the head itself is 177mm x 62mm and not the advertised 200mm and the way the bristles are inserted into the head you get an even smaller area which is 160mm x 55mm.The thread in my item is slightly buckled so I hope my pole that arrives fits OK.I'll add to this review when I start using the brush.

Purchased this to hand scrape moss from around 100m2 of pitched roofing, some areas which are pretty bad!It worked great after about 1/3 of the job it started to loose efficiency as bristles bent and a few fell/snapped out BUT at £7 I expected to go through a few of these! I have bout a replacement but probably could have carried on longer with this one if i had needed to.I do recommend this it has help make a massive difference to my roof.

This brush when fitted with one of 'Roughneck' long metal handles was an ideal product for scraping and brushing down my wooden decking. Its heavy duty wire head made it easy to carry out such a task. I am pleased to recommend this product.A creaky 76 year old gardener.
