Very cool! :-)
I finally was able to use this over the weekend. My laptop wasrunning very hot (it could be uncomfortable on my lap if I waswatching videos), so it was time for a thorough cleaning and newthermal paste. (Thanks, youtube video!)In addition to the cleaning, including removal of an excess of oldthermal paste, a small amount of paste went on both the cpu andgraphics chip. The result was excellent. The fans run less and the laptop feelscooler.I ran diagnostics on both the cpu and graphics card, and they bothshow lower, more reasonable temperatures. The paste was simple to apply -- it comes in its own "hypodermic"dispenser, so it's very easy to control.I wish I had done this long before this.

ARCTIC MX-6 (4 g) – Ultimate Performance Thermal Paste – Fantastic Cooling
I recently used the ARCTIC MX-6 (4 g) thermal paste for my new PC build with an Intel Core Ultra 2, and it’s been a game-changer. The MX-6 is easy to apply, with a smooth consistency that spreads evenly. I paired it with my Thermalright Peerless Assassin cooler, and the temperatures on my CPU are impressively low, even during intense gaming and multitasking sessions. The high thermal conductivity really shines, keeping my system cool under load. I appreciate that it’s non-conductive, giving me peace of mind during application, and the 4 g tube is plenty for multiple uses. The durability claims seem promising, but I’ve only had it for a short time, so I’ll update if performance changes. For now, it’s an outstanding thermal paste for the price—perfect for CPUs, GPUs, or even laptops. 5 stars and highly recommended!

Works perfect for top of the line AMD CPU
I built a PC with ryzen 9 9950x3d. Thermal is the top concern. I applied the paste and added heatsink. I have been using the PC for AI workflow that pushed the PC to the limit for 36 hours straight when my city experiencing a heat wave.I I also played game with top settings for hours. The temperature has been good. The airflow design for the entire PC is certain a big factor. However, I think this does the job perfectly with its price.

Excellent thermal compound
My son and I have used this thermal compound to replace the old thermal compound on an XBox One X, and on Asus Gaming Laptop. In both cases, it worked exceptionally well. It stopped the XBox from shutting down while playing games, and made the gaming laptop stop feeling the need to put the fans on jet engine mode, while using it. I appreciate the syringe applicator, too. That makes it easy to apply just the right amount, in just the right spot.

9800x3d with D15 runs cooler now
This is not a scientific test that I did but HWmonitor was showing my 9800x3ds temps in the mid 90's with my noctua nh-d15 and trying to climb while playing cyberpunk and skyrim remastered. HWmonitor was showing temps in the color red as if to signify danger and probably throttling. This was with arctic mx-4 which has always been great in the past. I tried re-applying the mx-4 but it made no difference since the spread of the paste was already perfect. After applying mx-6 in the recommended x pattern HWmonitor no longer shows temps in the red but the processor still uses available temp headroom to run faster. I've seen it go into the 90's but most of the time it's in the low 70's while gaming and the readings never flash danger any more. I know mx-6 didn't lower it 20 degrees so the super high temps may have been a fluke before but it did make a decent difference for sure since HWmonitor shows highest temps during extended gaming and it never goes critical.

Not a great experience, but competent so far.
I don't have any long term feedback on this yet, so I can't speak on how it holds up over time, but so far as I've tried applying it, it's a thicker paste, almost clumpy, and harder to work with than some other solutions, including MX5. I trust the Artic Silver brand that the thermals will be fine, and so far they are. I've noticed no overheating issues with any of the servers it's installed in (1u blade servers in a Dell C6320 chassis). I can't say if the thermals are better or worse than any other competitors right now due to not having a heterogenous cluster, but the nodes with this paste aren't overheating any.

Nice Thermal Paste
Used to upgrade my CPU so that windows would update to 11. Very good paste. Only need a small amount as instructed. Would keep system flat (horizontal) and perform normal or high performance tasks on your computer for 2-3 days to have the paste evenly apply across the cpu so it does not rush to only one side.

Applies easy and works great
Works great. Built my own computer again in a long time and used this as the thermal solution for my processor. This applies easily and spreads easily, not sure about the longevity though, but unless you go with something like the Honeywell PTMs, you'll probably need to re-paste at some point.I would say, dig around and see if you already have a tube lying around from a previous build. I also used the same product when I helped my friend build their computer a year ago, but found that tube after I bought this again and used it.
