Love Jason Vale!!
I started juicing after reading Jason Vale's 7lbs in 7 days back in Nov 2014. I found the 7 day plan extremely easy - I wasn't hungry, I had a massive energy boost & felt amazing... Plus I lost 7lbs!!Jason does a follow on 14 day food plan (incorporating juices & smoothies) which I used after finishing the juicing 'fast' and I continued loosing weight & feeling great. In 2 months I lost a total of 2.5 stone & went from a size 12/14 to a size 6/8.Amazingly over the year my weight only fluctuated by around 7lbs. If I felt a bit heavy or lethargic I'd do a couple of days just juicing & soon be back to my new trim, energetic self!!I bought this book to add to my collection of JV's juicing plans & it really makes sense! He suggests you follow a 2:3:2 plan (just juice for 2 days:clean eating for 3 days:whatever you fancy for 2 days).This plan fits easily around 'life' events as you can enjoy meals out/birthdays etc without feeling like your cheating or letting yourself down!I'm currently doing the 7 day plan again with my husband (who's a first time juicer!) but once we've finished tomorrow (if we finish tomorrow... My husbands enjoying it so much he's on about doing another 7 days!) we will adopt this as our new lifetime diet - along with a 5 or 7 day juice plan every 3 months.I've read most of Jason's books & have downloaded all his apps! He's so inspiring, his books are easy to read AND make perfect nutritional sense.As for the health benefits - energy levels are amazing, my under active thyroid (which my GP told me would be a life long condition needing daily medication) has almost returned to normal, I ache less and look & feel years younger!!My husband has found his eczema has almost cleared up (after only 6 days) & he's visably lost loads of weight... He's not going to get on the scales until Monday tho so can't update you on his actual weight loss yet!Ok... Update on my husbands progress... He did the following:Week 1 & 2 - followed Jason Vales 7lbs in 7 daysWeek 3 - Followed Jason's Soup & Juice PlanWeek 4 - Followed Jason's 5:2 PlanHe's lost a total of 29lbs & 18"!! He feels fitter, younger & full of energy and amazingly likes veggies that he previously wouldn't touch with a barge pole!!

It really is an excellent option for those who think dieting is difficult
Book arrived today. I've been juicing for 11 years now and have just about all of Jason's books. I have other books too but I find that Jason is more real about juicing. In this book you can juice for 2 days, have juice and wholefood for 3 days and then whatever you want for the remaining 2 days. It really is an excellent option for those who think dieting is difficult. As usual, well thought out, excellent juice recipes. Lots of photos to see what you're preparing - essential for me. I admit I have not yet tried any of the meals in this book but I know they will be tasty and exciting having tried Jason's meals from the Turbo Charge your Life in 14 Days book. Yep, another top book with lots of reality thrown in. Top trumps!!!

... follow on from 5lbs in 5 days (which I loved! )
I bought this as a follow on from 5lbs in 5 days (which I loved!). I was a bit disappointed that there was only a handful of recipes for non-fasting days and that there were no calorific values to any of them. I also found the fasting juice days to be too severe to stick to so am now fasting with a mix of low calorie food and Jason's juices.... and then using the few recipes in this book on other days. I must point out however that Jason's salads are so delicious that the book deserves 4 stars for that alone!! Be aware though that when I worked out the calorific value, I wouldn't consider them to be slimming.... but yes, very, very tasty!!

A nice little book for my kitchen top
New to juicing, I bought this to give me some tips and awareness around the juicing 'diet'. Contains some helpful recipes - not too many - but enough to not scare off someone starting out. I find the suggestions can be incorporated into a healthy eating plan. Its certainly opened my eyes to a healthier way of living without going on controlled diets which I find to be counterproductive. A nice little book for my kitchen top, I find it easy to read and follow.

Good, but nervous to eat!
I like the book, works well and laid out just fine.First week did well. Second week on, what I did find soul destroying is the mornings after a juice day, I lost weight. The mornings after food ( and I ate very healthy, I was super strict with it) I put that lost weight back on.So overall yes a good way to drop a bit of weight, but frustrating aswell.

Great diet
Excellent book . Everything explained so thoroughly . Follow the diet and the pounds drop off . I lost 5 pounds week 1 and 4 pounds week 2 and 2.75 pounds week 3. I followed the 3:2:2 he recommends . You feel healthy look good snd lose weight ! Only downside is diet day food recipes are very time consuming but absolutely delicious ... You don't feel like you're on. a diet . Give it a go !!!

Absolutely Super Book
Jason Vale .... You've done it again .....Super book ,full of great recipes & information .....on week 3 now ...And can honestly say I have never felt hungry ... Just well nourished & full of Heath & vitality........and as an extra bonus have lost 9 lbs ...Can highly recommend this new baby from JV .....
