This mini camera is doing the job I bought it for. Mainly monitoring a cat flap. No issues, easy to set up.

The media could not be loaded. The blink mini indoor camera that pans and tilts is a great addition to any internal security system.It’s a very small and discreet camera which still has excellent video and sound quality. It has the ability to adjust the camera by panning and tilting as seen in the video and the photo shows how this is done in the smartphone app.Another great feature is the ability to speak into the smartphone app that then echoes from the camera live. Along with being able to use the app to see and listen live from wherever I am, is fantastic.The camera is durable and performs well, along with decent night vision.I ended up buying the blink subscription plan to take advantage of the ability to save and view old recordings which is ideal if I am away from home. The camera is excellent value for money considering its price compared to similar competitors.Overall an excellent camera for any internal security, it’s a welcome addition to my growing blink camera/security system!

These are always great. Very simple to set up and add into your chosen smart Setup.The day vision is good the night vision OK but there Is an option to illuminate a bright led which really helpsFor for purpose - at the right price.Function great. Remote swivel not automatic but smooth.It’s a shame they don’t come with a longer lead. You can buy this separately but it’s nearly halfThe price of. The unit.Btw. Never buy these at full price. They are heavily reduced 2or 3 times per heal

The ability to be able to move the blink camera direction remotely was always one of the features that I thought Blink cameras needed.It’s cleverly designed so that you don’t need an additional power source as you plug the lead for the camera into the pan/tilt mount then attach the small cable on the mount to the camera. The only fiddly bit is attaching the camera to the mount as you have to be a bit brutal.Once it’s attached, the next time you go in to live view on that camera you will see a directional pad below the image feed and you can move the camera.There is a slight delay in the responses but it’s not really an issue.There is a “home” button in the middle of the pad circle that is easy to set where you want the camera to move back to after you’ve been changing its direction.The mount does not move 360 degrees round but because the camera has a wide field of vision it means you can see 360 degrees. You just can’t keep going round. It does point vertically up if you want to see the ceiling above the camera. So has a good range of movement.I really like the idea of it but it is of limited use for me. I don’t live in a massive house nor would I put a blink camera in the middle of a room so the cameras I have are set so they cover the whole room anyway. As such there is no need to move them. But I can see that if you wanted to monitor an remote property you could put it in the middle of a room and it would be good to see more of the property.It’s a nice gadget but it makes the camera more than double its existing height so it is far less unobtrusive.

I rushed to buy this with some other cameras in the sale whilst I could. I hadn’t thought about where I’d put it except in the house in the future to keep an eye on our furkids when we are out. I thought I’d be able to put it on the windowsill by the back door in the conservatory but it can’t see through the blinds, so for now it’s on a high shelf so we can see if anyone is at the back door and every bloody car or person that walks past. Ha! I think we’ll get a bendy bracket and attach an outdoor blink from the roof so we can see through an unblinded window, in future. But apart from that, it’s an excellent camera. I’ve not tried looking outside in the dark with it yet, but indoors it’s great. I love the 360 oscillation. We tried it on the kitchen at first and I heard my husband shouting me whilst he was at work. Ha! He was showing his mate our messy kitchen. For the price it’s brilliant. I’ve noticed that when we get cars drive past the back door, the recording and alarm go off at 3-4 seconds before you see the car. It’s similar at night. If it sees a car headlight, even in the distance, we’ll get the alarm. It’s on setting 4, but I still find it odd. This doesn’t happen with our outdoor cameras. It really isn’t in a practical position right now as it goes off whenever we go out. We are in and out going down the garden, to the garage, or to the bins. This will be brilliant though we when we are able to view our furkids when we’re out. It is very sensitive. It also goes off at night due to orbs which in this case must be tiny flies as there are no visible flies that we can see. Highly recommend.

Does what it is supposed to do & dies it well. There is a slight delay in the pan & tilt function from activating in the app to when the camera moves, but that is to be expected from a remote instruction going through several network layers. Image is pretty clear, voice function & sound is a bit hit & miss but it isn’t really designed to be used as a 2 way radio but more to inform intruders that you know they are there and tell them Police are on the way. The motor in the Pan & Tilt mount is also very quiet in operation.Installed in seconds to the Blink app and Hub that links the Blink ecosystem together. Was just a case of scanning the QR code on the camera in the app, selecting the correct camera/accessory & it is done. Works well in low light/darkness also even though it is black & white but full vibrant colours when there is sufficient lighting available to the sensor.

Easy to set up through Blink app. I bought it on an offer for about £21. Good little camera. Keeps an eye on my cat when I'm busy.
