Very stiff to open,had to disassemble unit to lubricate with vegetable oil,now opens easily.

I've wanted one of these since first seeing them in a bar a very long time ago, but never got around to finding out where to get one.I love Margarita's and having a salt rim and in the past have always used side plates or bowls, but you ended using too much salt and then throw it away afterwards.The top section includes some foam for the lime juice. This is so much easier than wiping a lime around the edge of the glass. Then you use the bottom section for the salt. I really like this and wish I had got one many years ago. I expect now it is this easy will be having a lot more Margarita's this summer!

I received broken, and from the look doesn’t seem to be top quality, you can see the poor quality of plastic, I will not suggest it to anyone.

I have wanted one of these for a while in the past using plates and bowls, that don't quite work the same!The item arrived in pristine condition, it does seem to me made from delicate looking plastic, but it is a cheap bar item, I would imagine they are all similar.You can dissemble the layers for easy cleaning in the dishwasher, and the foam sponge for lime juice is also easy to wash in the sinkThe best bit for me is the lime juice layer, with the sponge, It lets you get a perfect light coverage of juice so the other bits stick!I love a margarita, and i find the salt rim makes them so much nicer, this is going to get a lot of use!
