Gets the job done!
I purchased this to cut a hole in my existing CMU foundation to install a bathroom exhaust fan. My builder used extra thick wall CMU but this hole saw bit cut through nice and neat!

Surprisingly great!
I didn't expect much from this bit because of the relatively low cost. I didn't expect it to make it through all the layers of brick and stone that I needed to get through, but it performed like a champ. The pictures in the description are true. Highly recommended.

It’s the price for me so convenient!
The media could not be loaded. I was in a pinch and had to drill two holes in brick locally I was almost willing to spend almost $200 but I always check with Amazon first I found this bit and it saved my butt. I drilled two holes through right at 5” thick for a dryer vent absolutely perfect fit I can’t tell you how many hole you would be able to drill but I don’t think I wore it down much at all after two holes.Only down side is the pilot bit will… no matter how tight you tighten the screw pin fall out after about 4 min of drill but by then you will have the hole started and can continue without it.

Not good.
This saw is one of the worst masonry Hole Saws we ever purchased.1) It has very tiny cut teeth, These teeth may be will last you at most one (1) hole, get dull very quick.2) It uses tiny embedded screw to hold masonry bit in the center. This screw does not stay, comes out and get's lost.3) It appear to wabble from side to side, that causes twice as much efforts to drill a basic hole.4) If you have nothing to do with your life for the next 1 - 2 hour may be, after 1 hole - it is a throw away.Ugh

Could not cut through hollow brick even with 1-1/8" Bosch hammerdrill
I needed to cut a hole for a bath fan in some brick. This was a single layer of hollow brick in a two year old home. I tried for about 20min and barely scratched the surface. I was using a 1-1/8" rotary hammer in both hammer and standard drill settings with no luck. The set screw holding the pilot bit would also come out every few min while trying to drill no matter how tight the set screw was after making sure the flat of the bit was aligned.

Perfect for hole in stucco
Needed to make a hole in exterior stucco to terminate 4” bathroom exhaust vent. Can’t comment about durability since I only used it one time. But worked fast and easy for the one hole I needed.

Works
Not industrial grade or anything. But, for the price it definitely does the job! Cut dryer vent hole through my 50’s double brick house without any issues. Minimal wear to teeth, could cut again
