WORKS WITH SPECTRUM TV APP!!! Rokus are great with the best balance of value/features/services/Apps!
I love the Roku lineup because besides all the Roku streaming resources and apps, they ALSO support the Spectrum TV app, which lets you use any HDMI display device (This sometimes means computer monitors!) as a TV to receive standard programming like one of their official "Xumo StreamBox" devices. Spectrum gatekeeps this app to only certain ecosystems, and unfortunately, the Amazon FireStick is NOT one of them, hence this purchase. The positive is that you OWN this device and don't need to pay monthly fees to RENT a streaming widget from Spectrum. I also use this for several apps like PLEX, Crunchyroll, and YouTube, but SpectrumTV was the "killer app" for me.Just remember that this is not compatible with Amazon's "wireless home theater" choices, so if (like me) you switched from a FireStick to a Roku, you'll need to figure out something else for the audio. It DOES support Bluetooth devices, so that works as a replacement for the nearby speakers but I don't think it sends surround data. If you send the audio from the TV and not the Roku, you'll probably have more flexibility.I love it and it it saves me money letting every family member have a TV in their room without needing to rent NINE Spectrum devices for $10/month EACH, and it's easy enough to use with a simple remote that has also paired with all the TVs I have very quickly. My Techno-Challenged Mom that lives with me loves the friendly interface and ease of navigation. If you don't have a 4K TV, that's fine, and you can probably get a lower-tier Roku, but this one has a processor that's a bit more powerful, so I feel like it doesn't lag or stutter as you move around and it loads the content more quickly with better WiFi support.

Reliable, Fast, and Super Easy to Use!
I’ve been using the Roku Streaming Stick 4K for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly so impressed! Setup was super quick—just plugged it into my TV's HDMI port, connected it to Wi-Fi, and I was streaming in minutes. The picture quality is stunning with true 4K and vibrant HDR colors, and it even supports Dolby Vision on my newer TV, which really makes movies pop.The remote is simple but does everything I need—power, volume, voice search, and quick app buttons. Roku’s interface is by far the easiest and cleanest I’ve used (way better than my old Fire Stick, which was cluttered with ads). Everything loads quickly, and switching between apps like Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube is smooth with zero buffering. What I really love is how small and sleek it is. It hides right behind the TV and doesn’t need a bunch of cables. The Wi-Fi connection has been strong and stable, even in my bedroom where my router signal is usually weaker. If you're looking for an affordable, high-quality streaming device that just works, the Roku Streaming Stick 4K is the one. It's perfect for both tech-savvy users and those who want something simple and powerful. Highly recommend!

Must have in your home
I purchased this for my 81 yr old mother and the best thing about it is that all she has to do is hit the picture of the microphone on the remote and tell it what to do. Change channel, lower the volume, turn off TV. It's a great product for those who have difficulty trying to see all the buttons, or their hand grip isn't what it use to be as we age. This has stopped her from calling for me to find her something to watch onow that she knows where to push the microphone picture on the remote . On top of that ROKU has always offered good products and streaming shows with an app you can download and check out what's new or browse their library for different streaming shows. Only product I have ever purchased since I cut the cord from expensive cable TV. I can have my favorite shows on my TV and my mother has her own. $9.99 a month for Roku channel which offers many different types of shows better than paying $100 for cable or satellite TVDefinitely recommend

Roku addict
I own 3 of these and they are great. I cut the cable years ago and use either an antenna for local channels or Roku sticks for steaming. The wireless interface is awesome. No buffering whatsoever. Simply insert in your HDMI port at the back of your TV, follow the prompts, and you're all set. Roku has excellent free content and, of course, you can install tons of apps to watch your favorite content. Price on Amazon is usually the same as on the Roku site. I prefer to order from Amazon because if there is any issue with the product, it's easy to exchange. I must say, however, that I've never had issues with Roku devices

Love my Roku but it does have issues
I love my Roku sticks, however I do have a lot of issues with them! Batteries on the remote burn through like crazy and there is no warning when the battery is about to go out. You push a button on the remote and go to press another and the battery is dead! Also have a lot of problems with the remote losing connection with the device. Same problem works fine one second then have to reset and reconnect remote. So very frustrating. This latest model seems to be worse than the others I have. I still would not give up my Roku but I wish they would fix these issues (I will be purchasing a rechargeable remote at some point maybe this will fix the battery problem)

Does what it says it does
Not a ton to add here—Really well priced, intuitive interface, and the video and sound quality are both great. The only reason I almost didn't buy it is that I had a Roku-equipped TV probably 10 years ago that was kind of slow, but there's no lag to speak of in the new products. The software had to update a few times, but that's standard for these things. The only thing to really be aware of is that it does require it's own power outlet—maybe not something you'd expect if you're used to Chromecast or other smaller streaming devices.
