New Silent Knight Pill Crusher + 100 Free Pouches

I bought this to crush the medications I need to take. The plastic ones were hard on my wrist to twist. This is easy to use & crushes pills to a fine powder that is easy to dissolve. They used this when I was in the hospital so I ordered one for myself when I got home.

When my mom ended up having to get a G-Tube, I tried several different products to crush her pills, but never could get them fully crushed to go through her G-Tube. Saw the nurses in the hospital use this a couple of times and saw how it really crushed up the pills. So I decided to purches one to use at home.

Works exactly as expected. I read in some reviews about how the powder created from crushing a pill was not fine enough. As an RN, I know that the hard "shell" coating of many pills will break off during crushing. That's not a flaw of the pill crusher - it's how the pill is created. If it presents a problem with administration (like with a feeding tube, as one reviewer noted), you must sort out the shell prior to administering through a tube.

This is a very sturdy pill crusher. It is big as well. Doesnt take much pressure to crush a pill. Too much pressure will render the pill to dust and it will get stuck in the little pill bag that comes with machine. It weighs about 5-6 pounds Id say.

I need to crush 20 pills a day. This makes my life so much easier. Can't give it 5 stars because it isn't perfect. Pill residue gets stuck in the bottom of the bags, And it's a lot of effort to get it all out. I know I can't get it all out. It is the best thing I have found

Love this device! I learned to get all the med out from the pouch put about 10-20 ml of water…fold the top of the pouch down and smack it firmly against something hard. Works very well every time!. I don’t dread crushing pills anymore!
