Q: Is this 2 pillow cases or 1

This price is for one pillow case. I purchased one a few weeks ago, it is very soft.

Q: Where is this manufactured?

It is from China, but unlike other China products. China is known for their silk. This didn't have the chemical aroma that other Chinese manufactured goods have. It is well made and nicely packaged. I try to stay away from products manufactured in China, but there was no getting around it. Then I thought about silk and China, it made sense. I looked at all the silk pillowcase manufacturers and the reviews and thought that this would be the best. I was right. I was also given excellent customer service! Read my previous review.

Those top-voted reviews that say these aren't genuine silk confuse me - the reviewers didn't say what makes them think that, and the teal pillowcase I have from Yanibest is definitely real silk. I have very sensitive skin, and silk is one of the few fabrics I can wear and use as bedding - I can very much tell the difference between how my skin feels after wearing or lying on silk, and how it feels with polyester. They also have a different feel, to me: silk is made of protein fibers from silkworms, and it feels almost like very soft skin. If you can't tell and want to test it, just cut a little of the extra fabric out of an inside seam, and burn it. Silk will smell like burnt hair and crumble to ash, but polyester will smell like burnt plastic and melt.
