A Kitchen Staple!
This jar of garlic and ginger paste arrived very well packaged and I use the paste regularly since I love cooking curry. It is also a flavorful addition to Asian inspired soups and stir fries. It lasts very well in the refrigerator once opened.

Key ingredient in my kitchen
We love this stuff around here! So many recipes are made better with a dollop of this paste. It's also great for a very quick sauce - a tablespoon of this plus 2-3 tablespoons of soy sauce and a splash of vinegar - you're all set. Keeps well in the fridge and lasts a long time. I replace my jar every year.

Ground, not chpped
When I have time, and care enough about the dish I'm making, I use fresh garlic and ginger that I chop myself. This jar of garlic/ginger seems to be "ground" into a paste rather than chopped. Well, that's what the label says so I cannot criticize. Paste has its advantages so I think this product is fine, although I would rather use chopped, rather than ground, garlic and ginger.

Not overly strong
I like this product, neither garlic or ginger overwhelms. However, the lid rusts so a piece of Saran wrap between lid and jar is recommended.

Good Food Begins With Great Ingredients
Ginger garlic paste is one of the foundation of Indian cookery. I am very pleased with this jars' contents and will continue to order more as needed.
