I was skeptical when purchasing this because of the reviews, but overall the water bottle is amazing.My bottle and the one I bought my girlfriend were amazing. We had no issues what so ever. Go ahead and try it yourself. It was really easy to drink from, the filter works great, and I only had 2 minor issues.First thing is first, remember to not lift the bottle when drinking, just suck on the straw. If you are having issues sucking water, open the bottle and take the straw out. Move the straw to the left (where the tube is) leaving it in the unlock formation. I keep it slightly in between the unlock and lock, I am not sure if it helps, but I just want to make sure the straw doesn't come apart.Now on to my 2 biggest (but minor) pet peeves on this bottle:1. When almost finished with the water in the bottle, there is some water at the bottom that the straw can't reach and it just stays there.2. When I go to refill the bottle or clean it, I move the straw around on the inside to make sure all the water has come out. After about 5 seconds I THINK it is empty so I go to lift the straw out of the bottle. But, the as I lift the straw out and rotate it upwards, A LOT of water comes out and it makes me and my environment completely wet. There have been so many times I have cussed at the bottle because of this issue.One more thing, the bottle keeps the water cool for a long time. I love the bottle and I wished there was one with more capacity.Conclusion: DO NOT listen to the reviews. Go ahead and buy it, you will love it. Try it out, I doubt you will not like it.

I purchased this for traveling by air and car. I was able to obtain water from any tap and the water tasted good. It is insulated well to hold cold water for 24 hours. Not all airport water is filtered! Well worth the dollars spent!

I got this water bottle as a small gift for my boyfriend’s birthday. He only drinks filtered water and typically uses the big brita water jug to filter the water he drinks. He loves having the bottle for the gym or when he is traveling. The only downsize is that this water bottle doesn’t fit in my car cup holders, but that’s expected with a 30+ ounce water bottle. The straw filter works great and is easy to use and the bottle is also easy to refill. I recommend cleaning out the straw often and replacing it every month or so for the best filtration. Very sturdy water bottle that doesn’t dent easily and keeps water cool throughout the day.

Love this. We bring it when traveling in the states because we filter our tap water at home and you never know what you are going to get at a hotel or airbnb or if filters elsewhere have been replaced consistently. We have pretty decent water where I live but there are areas like near my brothers house where the water is heavily treated (near old mining towns) and the chemicals used/left over taste from runoff/treatment makes me ill. I will just not drink water if I do not like the taste and I really hate to use bottled water (though having cans now is a really nice option for short periods of time) so this bottle is fantastic. The last AirBnB we stayed in for a week was outside of Chicago and I couldn't handle the water so we ended up buying them a really inexpensive brita pitcher and purchased a couple of these when we returned home for all future trip.We tested them in Breckinridge over a long weekend which has decent water compared to other areas in Summit County but it gave us peace of mind and ensured we were drinking enough.I highly recommend!

I love this water bottle. The spout is a little tough to clean but not impossible. You must clean it frequently. The bottle comes with one filter and the replacement filters are not terribly expensive. I have this bottle in multiple colors. It holds a good amount of water and has survived a great number of falls. It keeps the water very cool because of the metal interior. Overall I am very pleased with the bottle and will likely keep buying them.

I have struggled with drinking water for as long as I can remember. I thought I tried everything, Stanley, Owala, Hydroflask, those big bottles with hour markers, and nothing seemed to work on me. I started to think about how the only water I am really able to get down is a Brita fresh out the fridge...which led me here! It doesn't stay perfectly cold, and doesn't taste amazing, but at least it always tastes the same. I replaced the filter after a few weeks and it was good as new again. Honestly this is the only water bottle I'm able to drink from, and from one water hater to another, I recommend trying this. I'm able to get down 2 in a day!

Perfect gift for college male who would not have thought to have one to drink clean water. Loved the black color and so easy to use and clean.

Update: So I did mention I emailed their customer service, and within a few days they responded, and are sending me a product replacement. So there was some resolve to contacting them. I still feel like the product deserves it's 3 star rating though. So I'm going to keep that the same. But as far as customer service goes from Brita, I'd give them 5 stars .Original Review: The water bottle was working fine, until the cap broke after just 4 months of normal usage. The small plastic clip on the top lid cap broke off and now the top wont close and stay shut. So I cant carry it in a bag, or lay it flat anywhere. I searched for a replacement and they don't seem to offer one anywhere. Contacted customer support and am waiting to hear back, but I saw others reviews with the same issue saying that was a dead end. Now I have a fairly expensive broken water bottle and replacement filters which are now both useless to me. Not shelling out another 40+.As far as the bottle itself, it is sturdy and easy to use, Cleaning was a bit of a pain but manageable. Like any water bottle lid, if you don't clean it you will get mold. The one down side of the bottle design is you have to drink from it with the bottle upright, if not you will either get a spill or wont get any water to come out.If you are looking for a filtered water bottle, I personally would look elsewhere.
